Sadly, Prime Day 2026 is over. However, like every Prime Day event, there are still deals going on. If you just decided today that you need a laptop upgrade, you might be in luck with a great discount.
The ongoing shortage of RAM worldwide has led most PC makers to raise the prices of their laptops this year. As of this week, that includes Apple: All of its MacBooks now cost at least $100 less than they did when they were launched. (Goodbye, $599 MacBook Neo. We didn’t know them.)
Mercifully, Amazon offered some sweet RAMageddon relief during its annual Prime Day sale, but now that it’s over, we still have a few sales left. MacBooks win at the best discount, but you can also find a few Windows laptops on sale.

As Mashable’s resident expert on all things laptops, I have to tell you that Amazon carries a much smaller selection of Windows laptops, gaming laptops, and Chromebooks than other major retailers — especially Best Buy, which happens to be running a competitive Tech Fest auction this week. I’ve rounded up the best Amazon laptop deals below that are still waiting.

Powered by the M5 chip, Apple’s sleek MacBook Air is faster than any other Windows laptop at its price (and there are many. way more expensive). Its overall build quality also blows away most of the competition: It comes equipped with a luxe haptic touchpad, a sharp Liquid Retina display, and a 12MP web camera. The base 15-inch model recently went up in price to $1,499, but Amazon is selling it for $1,149.99 right now — a 23% savings. If it’s on sale there, you can find a similar deal at Costco (also open to non-members).
