Summer House the new one Mia Calabrese it’s all in the idea of competing with his BFF Ciara Miller.
“I love it,” said Mia, 34, to herself Us Weekly of Vulture Reality Masterminds Celebration on Thursday, May 7. “I really like Ciara, and I think that idea is great.”
Mia, however, revealed that she has “no control” over the Bravo-directed series.
“I’m at the bottom of the totem pole, I don’t make the rules over there Bravo [does],” he said Us. “I don’t know what’s going on, I’m just grateful to be there.”
Mia has joined Summer House during season 10, which is currently airing.
“The filming experience was amazing. I had a great time,” he gushed. “I learned a lot about myself and, obviously, a lot happened after filming, and it feels like every day they’re discovering new things. There’s a lot. Meetings happened, that was a lot, but I’m happy to be here.”
Months after filming wrapped, Mia’s co-stars Amanda Batula again Kyle Cooke announced in January that they had separated after four years of marriage. Three months later, Amanda, 34, revealed that she started dating her costar West Wilson. (West, 31, dated Ciara, 30, in 2023 before sources told Us they reunited again earlier this year.)
Ciara said she was blindsided by the love triangle, although she reunited with West, Amanda and all Summer House staff reunion last month. Audio of the set was leaked online within hours, where Ciara was heard talking to Amanda and West about the show. Bravo has conducted an investigation into the source of this leak.
“The investigation into the recent leak of Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and broadcast by someone involved in the production of the reunion,” a representative for the TV network said in a statement on April 26. “As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken.”
The statement continued, “There is no evidence that any cast member was involved in the audio recording. We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to unauthorized distribution of our content.”
As for Mia, she is “grateful” that this situation is causing all the characters.
“I’m thankful it’s over, I think [fans] they will learn a lot,” Mia teased Us of an encounter that is sure to be explosive. “We’re here for hours. A lot was said, a lot was asked, and I’m glad that chapter … is closed. I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m glad.’
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 pm ET.
