‘GTA VI’ pre-orders open for PS5 and Xbox: Price, bonuses, Ultimate Edition exclusives

Your last call “we’ve had X before GTA VI” memes. As of midnight local time on June 25, GRand Theft Auto VI is finally available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ahead of its mid-November release. It comes in two plans starting at $79.99.

GTA VI pre-orders are currently live on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Rockstar Games Store. This story will be updated with listings from other major retailers as they become available.

GTA VIThe base game costs $79.99 and ships as a “single-player experience,” according to a press release from developer Rockstar Games. In other words, it will not come with a new version of Grand Theft Auto Online, on the multiplayer side GTA V.

There is also $99.99 GTA VI The Ultimate Edition contains “an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, costumes, and actions,” Rockstar said. It previews more of this on its website, including:

• ’95 Grotti Cheetah car

• Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers

• A variety of customized side weapons

• Special clothes and tattoos

• Special hairstyles, makeup, and nail art

• Jason’s Safehouse Cars

• Vapid Ganado modkit

• Access to two exclusive fashion stores and a clothing store

• Shitzu Squalo boat

• ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy with garage

• Raid mission of PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store, gang

• A side mission to find and restore classic cars

All players buy GTA VI before Nov. 20 you’ll get the bonus Vintage Vice City Pack, which Rockstar describes as “a collection of items that shine when neon is at its hottest.” There’s a yellow ’55 Vapid Stanier with its own garage; Special clothes and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, the two characters of the game; and palm tree weapon pattern.

Those who pre-order digital copies will also receive a free month of GTA+, the unlocking membership service GTA online bonuses and a library of old Rockstar titles. It usually costs $7.99 per month.

Players can load first GTA VI on their consoles starting Nov 12. Portable copies will come with a download code to facilitate this.

Rockstar revealed GTA VIcover art for a 30-second video on its social media channels last week. It has released its second and latest trailer for the upcoming May 2025 blockbuster, showing nearly three minutes of gameplay and cutscene footage captured on the PS5.

When is ‘GTA VI’ coming out?

GTA VI is set for release on Thursday, Nov. 19. Don’t forget to submit your PTO request.

The game was announced in December 2023 and was supposed to launch in late 2025, but Rockstar delayed it until May 2026 and then came this fall. In announcing its second delay, Rockstar said: “These extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you expect and deserve.” Hey, what’s another few months after 13 years?
