After eating at the restaurant, Pratt praised the food and compared his visit to a recent stop by Democratic Mayor Karen Bass at one of the soul restaurants.
“Oh, it was amazing,” Pratt told Fox News Digital. “We went to the real Roscoe’s in LA City.”
“I saw Mayor Bass enjoying a different Roscoe. It’s still good,” he said casually. “I don’t think he ate anything. I think he had a soda and a photo op, but I wanted to see LA City Roscoe.”
Asked what he ordered, Pratt replied: “I had waffles and chicken. It was amazing.”

Founded in 1975, Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles has become a Los Angeles institution known for its fried chicken and waffles pairing and its place in the city’s cultural history. The restaurant has long attracted a mix of local residents, celebrities, athletes and politicians.
Pratt entered the mayoral race after losing his Pacific Palisades home to a devastating wildfire in 2025 and has become a vocal critic of Bass and city leadership. His campaign focuses on public safety, homelessness, wildfire preparedness and government accountability.

Speaking outside Roscoe, Pratt used the stop to reinforce his message of law and order and vowed to clean up the city.
“What am I doing on day one? We’re going to start making the streets safe again,” Pratt said.
“It’s going to take the first few weeks — I have to warn everybody — law is back in LA.,” he continued. “However, once everyone has been warned, then we will apply all the rules so that everyone feels safe throughout the city. Because right now, no one feels safe.”

Although he was initially considered a celebrity, Pratt gained attention due to his social media presence, engaging campaign ads, viral debate performance, name recognition and outdoor campaign message.
His Election Day appearance in Roscoe reflected a campaign that leaned heavily on Los Angeles culture as he sought to connect with voters frustrated by the city’s challenges — especially after last year’s deadly and devastating wildfires.
