Summer is just around the corner, but Chrissy Lampkin is already letting fans know what to expect! On Tuesday (May 5), he dropped his first Instagram post since March: two photos and a video. It looks like the reality TV star is on vacation after celebrating his 55th birthday on April 27. It’s unclear if Jim Jones joined Lampkin on his getaway!
The first picture shows him standing by the glass wall of the balcony. Clear sea water, sand and palm trees are visible in the background. Meanwhile, Chrissy is serving body -ody -ody -ody. In that first photo, she’s wearing a black swimsuit with a plunging neckline, revealing her stomach. The other side of the swimsuit features a train of what appears to be black beading or woven material. She elevated her beach look with gold hoops, layered gold necklaces and gold bangles. And nails and toes? Everything is white! Her second photo is the middle photo, showing her holding a straw hat to her chest while smiling slightly. His caption reads, “In My Part 🌴☀️🌊.” And, in the comments section, he wrote, “Thank you for all your birthday love ❤️.”
Jim Jones Shares Risqué Reaction to Chrissy’s New Photos
Among the 3,700 comments was one from her longtime boo, Jim Jones. He noted, “What’s under that sexy hat 👀😎,,” referring to his second photo.” It does not appear that he has publicly responded to his recommendation.” Still, his comment received more than 500 likes, with 44 responses in 21 hours. While some seemed to be sarcastic responses telling him to look at the first picture, others brought up the never-ending topic of marriage.
@mommabsoulkitchen replied, “BRUH IM 60 YEARS OLD I THINK YOUR RING TIME IS THE CLASSIEST KING ON TV N BEAUTIFUL.”

Meanwhile, @bronxraisedme speculated that they may have already tied the knot somehow. He wrote, “It looks like the ring is on her finger 🤷🏾♂️.”
How About Jim & Chrissy Getting Married?
The couple began dating in the mid-2000s and later appeared on the show, ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York.’ During the finale of the first season in 2011, Jim Jones finally proposed after a few episodes making the topic of marriage their story. Earlier that season, he had proposed to her first, a moment that fans still cherish! Despite receiving a ring in 2011, no record of the wedding has emerged.
Eight years after the proposal, Chrissy Lampkin shared that she is over the idea of marrying Jim Jones. He made the comments during a 2019 guest appearance on ‘The Real.’ Lampkin emphasized that he no longer feels pressured by outsiders to get married and that marriage is “no longer important.” He added, “We’re good right now.”
Then in 2022, a clip of the couple on vacation showed them discussing marriage. In it he says that he does not want to marry her. Then, he goes on to explain that he can be gentle, cold and distant while he needs to “love, have sex, be crazy, cook..” It is not clear where the two stand on marriage in 2026. Last year, he opened up about how they met.
