Off Campus’ Mika Abdalla Teases Allie, Dean Season 2 Twist

Off campus took some liberties with Allie and Dean’s story – and now Mika Abdalla teases what awaits them in season 2.
“Even though we’re teasing Dean and Allie a lot earlier than people expected, he still wants more,” Abdalla, 26, said to himself. Us Weekly. “And that’s something I’m excited about. You just want to see more.”
Abdalla noted how the show wanted to “stay true to most” of Allie and Dean’s love story.
“Allie and Hannah’s stories are so intertwined that it just made a lot of sense to touch on that this season,” he said of the expanded focus on Allie and Dean. “All the books, they build on each other and they’re all connected. It didn’t make sense not to include some elements from other books this season.”
Based on- Off campus A book series written by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered Wednesday, May 13, follows an elite ice hockey team — and the women in their lives — as they “struggle with love, heartbreak and self-discovery — forming deep friendships and lasting bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,” reads the official synopsis.
Hannah (Ela Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Camel) The love story took a big place in season 1 – with several important moments from their book, A feastchanged to updated version. At the same time, the show stopped Allie and Dean (Stephen Kalyn) as possible sequels despite being revealed in the third book in the series.

“With Allie and Dean’s scenes from the book, it was more fun than pressure to get it right,” he told us. “I’m glad we were able to give fans of the book this point.”
Abdalla was also excited about the opportunity to develop Allie even more.
“In Allie’s development, she’s a larger than life personality. She’s the center of attention. She’s a ball of energy most of the time,” said the actress, who auditioned for the role of Hannah. “When I heard they wanted to bring me back to Allie and I ended up holding the script, it was perfect. And everything fell into place, in a really good way.
Looking ahead, Abdalla can’t wait to explore more — however long the wait may be.
“I’m looking forward to delving into who Allie and Dean are. They both have these ways, these people that are hard to break through. They’re kind of their own ideas, if that makes sense,” she was told. “But in the books, there’s a lot under Dean and there’s a lot under Allie.”
He continued: “When it’s time for our season, I’m excited to dig into that emotionally and slowly see QAllie and Dean as their most outsiders in season 1. And while that’s fun, and they’re really fun characters to play, I think that as actors, selfishly, we’ve both really enjoyed loving, finding a sense.”
