Florida man charged with wife’s bloody murder, says crime scene was a mess of ‘bad sex’

A Florida man is accused of brutally beating his wife to death in their Florida Keys home early Thursday, according to a new report.

Bradley Shadduck, 56, was charged with murder after his wife, Lynne Alane Shadduck, was found in the hallway of their home, naked, unconscious and bleeding from her face, hands and head, Local10 reported.

Authorities first responded to the scene shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday after Bradley, who was naked and wrapped in a towel, asked a neighbor to call 911 because “there was blood everywhere,” the County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said in a statement.

“Call 911, guys, my whole house is covered in blood, there’s blood everywhere,” Bradley told the neighbor, according to the outlet.

Officials said the Shadduck residence on Caudjoe Key “was found covered in blood in multiple areas.”

There were a number of broken items throughout the house with “blood and gore smearing the floor, and a large pool of blood in the middle of the living room,” according to an arrest report seen by Local10.

When questioned by police, Bradley said “this just happened,” refusing to provide more details about the incident but repeatedly emphasizing that “his wife needed help,” the report said.

When first responders arrived, Lynne, 62, was unconscious but still breathing and was taken to Stock Island Hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to police.

Bradley told police that the day before, he and his wife had “lots and lots of drinks” at a local restaurant and that the house was a mess because of “risky sex,” the newspaper reported.

“Bradly said when he drinks, he passes out and doesn’t remember anything,” MCSO Deputy Paul McNalley wrote in the arrest report.

The arrest report stated that Bradley did not remember going to a neighbor for help.

A search warrant at Shadduck’s home found blood “all over the living area” including towels in the master bedroom and bathroom, the outlet reported.

The report determined there was a “significant struggle and struggle with the victim,” but Bradley was unharmed.

According to an online obituary, Lynne was “a very proud and loving mother and grandmother.”

“Lynne devoted her life to caring for others. As a dedicated nurse, she touched many lives with her gentle hands, unwavering compassion, and healing spirit,” the obituary said.

“His job was not just a job, but a true calling to comfort the needy.”

An MCSO spokesperson was unable to provide further details on the matter when contacted by The Post Saturday.
