Host Estee Williams Weeps for 8-Month-Old Daughter

The facilitator Estee Williams pays tribute to his 8-month-old daughter, Estelle, after her death.
“Until we meet again, my dear Estelle,” Williams wrote on his Instagram Story on Saturday, May 30, alongside a photo of himself holding his daughter. He added an angel wings emoji to the photo.
Williams confirmed to People on Sunday, May 31, that Estelle died of multiple organ failure and spent several months connected to various hospital machines.
Williams gave birth to Estelle in 2025. The child was born with a heart problem known as a ventricular septal defect.
“After a long two-day labor and complete exhaustion, my midwife and I agreed that transfer to the hospital was the best decision. Estelle was born after 24 hours – healthy and absolutely beautiful. It was not until a day and a half later that she failed two oxygen saturation tests and a heart murmur was detected, at which time she was admitted for evaluation2 on Instagram of the NICU.
He continued, “The cardiologist did an echocardiogram, and that’s when we knew she had two VSDs – one large and one medium. We were told that the largest hole was 11 mm in size and that, at some point in her childhood, she would probably start showing symptoms and need heart surgery to repair the VSDs in pieces. Four days later, we were able to go home and begin our journey with a girl’s heart.”
Williams shared that Estelle’s surgery was scheduled for November 2025, which was expected to be a “short hospital stay” meaning about three to six days after the surgery.
“Our baby girl’s surgery was a success! bringing our baby home from the NICU and being able to grow, if only a little, before her surgery,” Williams wrote at the time.
Williams explained that because “the incision was very wide and could not contract like a normal septum,” “Estelle’s postoperative course was completely unexpected and marked by significant complications.” Within two weeks, Estelle “had a second heart operation for a complete blockage of her heart.”
After Estelle suffered a cardiac arrest in December 2025, she was placed on life support. Williams was told that her daughter could not leave the hospital until she had a heart transplant.
In April, Williams shared that Estelle was considered unfit due to various health issues, including sepsis and blood clotting problems. After the situation improved, Williams shared that Estelle was given eligibility again. Earlier this month, Williams explained that Estelle had been removed from the list for a second transplant.
