Fergie Reunites with Black Eyed Peas at 2026 AMAs

Fergie had a very emotional reunion with his Black Eyed Peas bandmates at the 2026 American Music Awards.
“‘Rock That Body,’ we did it,” Fergie, 51, enthused during the annual awards show. “Black Eyed Peas, ‘Rock That Body,’ American Music Awards 2026, let’s go!”
The “Big Girls Don’t Cry” singer joined his former bandmates I will.i.am, APL.DE.AP again Taboo on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25, to accept the Best Throwback Song Award for their 2010 hit “Rock That Body.”
The new category of the AMAs celebrated the classics that dominated pop radio, with “Rock That Body” triumphing over 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” and the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris.”

Ethan Miller/Getty ImagesAhead of Monday’s win, the Black Eyed Peas promoted their American Music Award nomination via Instagram on April 15 by sharing a TikTok video set to “Rock That Body.”
“Honored to be nominated for @amas 2026 !! ‘Rock That Body’ for Best Throwback Song… a song we’ve done all those years ago, that still has an impact today,” they wrote.
Fergie was the lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas from 2002 to 2018, at which time she left the group to focus on her solo career.
“Ever since the Black Eyed Peas started, we’ve always had amazing musicians come up to the mic with us,” will.i.am, 51, told us. Ahlan at that time. “People like it Macy Gray, Esther, Debi NovaFergie. Opened The punkthere were a few women from that album. Obviously, Fergie was the featured woman, but on songs like ‘Let’s Get It On,’ Noelle [Scaggs]then Fergie, songs like ‘Latin Girls,’ by Debi Nova, and ‘Request Line,’ by Macy Gray. We will always work with beautiful women.”

The old line-up, including Fergie, finally reunited in December 2025 to celebrate all four of their 50th birthdays.
“Finally we got to break bread and celebrate our milestone birthdays together,” Fergie wrote alongside photos of her with the Black Eyed Peas. “A special night my brothers, full of so much love 🫛🫛♥️♥️”
Throughout their career, Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas have sold more than 80 million records worldwide and topped the Billboard Hot 100 three times with 2009’s “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” and 2010’s “Imma Be.”
The 2026 American Music Awards aired on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
