Erika Kirk Talks With Candace Owens And Comedians In Clapback Video

On Wednesday (April 29), Erika shared a nine-minute video saying that the United States is no longer visible and that the truth is being “distorted.” He talked about going to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the alleged assassination attempt on President Trump, and how he is perceived online and in the media.

Regarding attending the dinner, Erika Kirk said she wants to meet the journalists who allegedly “tried to discredit her” and she wants to “meet some of them face to face.” He added, “Why are you talking about me when you can have a conversation with me?”

In another part of her video, Erika talked about comedians with “white faces.” He didn’t mention Druski by name, but about a month ago, he had the Internet in a frenzy when he threw a joke about “conservative women.” The scenes in the skit seem to resemble real-life events, the facial expressions and even the clothes associated with Mrs. Kirk. At the time, even President Trump suggested that he should sue the comedians. As for Candace Owens, following the death of Charlie Kirk in September, she shared her criticism of the incident with her wife.

“I’ve got comedians wearing white dresses, I’ve got people saying I’m not fit to be CEO and I’ve got Candace Owens saying I killed my husband and the list goes on…” Erika Kirk said.

Candace Owens Says She Never Said Erika Killed Charlie, Screenshot Goes Around

On Thursday, one day after Erika’s video, Candace Owens responded with an X. He explained how he treated Dave Chappelle who used to mock him. Then he remembered Charlie Kirk’s reaction to the South Park episode about him.

“If Charlie were alive and the subject of the Druski skit, he would laugh. Whether it’s Jimmy Kimmel, South Park, Chappelle or otherwise—anyone who tries to criminalize comedy is the enemy of free speech. Not one inch,” wrote Candace Owens.

Later, Owens retweeted the video in a separate tweet as proof. In this video, the late Charlie Kirk says conservatives need to be “laughingly good-natured,” and keep a tough skin, calling every discussion about them a success.

Candace Owens also commented on Erika Kirk’s video as a whole, calling it “a very uncomfortable watch” and “a painful read.”

“Speech clearly written by someone else. Too bad so now they’re going to pay people to tell us otherwise. Also, from everything I said about Erika you choose to respond to something I never said. They always lie,” he added in a tweet.

Erika’s only response to this point appears to be a screenshot of a text that a representative of Turning Point USA shared on X. In the screenshot, a contact labeled as Candace Owens wrote, “I ask EVERYTHING. The first question: What were you listening to your husband?”

So far, Candace’s most recent tweet continues to focus on First Amendment protections for comics. And to say THAT, he retweeted a 2024 tweet from Charlie Kirk. He also responded in a video shared on social media.

Why Jimmy Kimmel In The Mix?

Days before the teacher shot at the White House, Jimmy Kimmel joked about Melania Trump’s appearance. On TV, an ABC anchor pretends to be hosting a Writers’ Dinner. At the time, he joked that the First Lady had “the glow of a pregnant widow.”

After the real-life shooting of Cole Tomas Allen, Trump and Melania called Jimmy Kimmel and ABC, demanding the host be fired. Trump and Kimmel have been feuding for years, though. In addition, in his defense, Jimmy said that the joke had nothing to do with the shooting, and clarified that it was a dig at the age of the president, who is 79 years old.
