Chelsea’s Love Is Blind signs, Kwame were looking to break up

The fans wanted it Love Is Blind‘s Chelsea Griffin again Appiah stopped – but after four years of marriage, their love ended.
The season 4 couple, who tied the knot in May 2022, announced their separation on May 15, 2026, in a joint statement.
“It is heartbreaking to share that our marriage is coming to an end,” Chelsea wrote in part of her Instagram statement. “This is not the outcome I expected, and I entered this relationship with deep love, commitment and the intention to build a lasting life together.”
Kwame admitted in his part of the announcement, “This is not something any of us have ever thought about, and it has been one of the hardest decisions to make.”
“I poured my whole heart into this marriage and I want it to work until the end, but lasting marriages need more than just love,” Chelsea said. “I am forever grateful for the life, memories and experiences we shared.”
While some fans are surprised that Chelsea and Kwame have split – especially since the news comes on the eve of their anniversary – others saw cracks in their relationship earlier this year.

These exes were last seen in public together Love Is Blind season 10 reunion special for Netflix. Chelsea and Kwame posted about their coming out on Instagram on March 11 and March 12.
“Visiting the pods made me reminisce about my feelings๐ฉทโฆ and now I’m crying. AGAIN๐คง,” Chelsea wrote on Instagram on March 11, sharing a video clip from the recording. “The past 4 years may not seem like a long time, but when I look back it feels like a long time ago ๐ฉ๐ญ I want these feelings, these moments, these memories locked in my heart forever ๐๐๏ธโค๏ธ๐ฅฐ And I want time to heal so I never forget our journey, our love story. Love you Kwam ๐ฅน.”
He added, “Watch me do one of my favorite things, cry on TV ๐คญ๐ฎ, Love Is Blind The Season 10 Reunion airs in just a few HOURS! ๐บ.”
Kwame posted photos from the March 12 event, writing, “That’s where we all went back to the beginning! ๐ ๐ซถ๐ฟ.”

That same month, Chelsea posted photos of a soccer match in honor of Valentine’s Day. “Happy Valentines baby!!! My life with you is such a rewarding journey,” she wrote on February 14. “It’s our 4th V day and I still love you so much. The day we got married, you became a Seahawk by engagement (lucky). Now you’re a real 12 years old, one with a HEART. ๐๐.”

On March 14, the former couple shared a behind-the-scenes video from their time together Love Is Blind. “It’s so much fun ๐น๐ค๐คฉ ,” they said in the caption of the clip, Chelsea said “it was the moment” she realized that she “wasn’t willing to marry a crippled guy” and someone who “wouldn’t have time to drive a car.”
The video upload marked their last post together. Over the next few weeks, both Kwame and Chelsea posted on social media to each other with very little acknowledgment of what the other was doing.
Chelsea Griffin’s Wedding Ring Disappeared
On March 18, Chelsea posted a photo of herself wearing all green, captioning the post, “It’s giving green goddess mermaidcore ๐๐๐ชด๐ด.” While many fans loved the photos, others noticed that Chelsea was not wearing her wedding ring in any of the Instagram photos.
One month later, Chelsea posted several photos from the same photo shoot, which added fuel to the breakup speculation.

“In the green, I got my color ๐ธ 35 today,” Chelsea wrote on Instagram on April 26. “No long speech, deep gratitude for being here and feeling like I’m just getting started ๐ฉท๐ I love you, always ๐ซ๐ชท.”
She shared a series of photos of herself, dressed in pastel pink, in honor of her birthday. Eagle-eyed fans pointed out that Chelsea’s left hand was blocked or cut off in all of the snaps, making it difficult to see if she was still wearing her wedding ring.

Kwame did not post on social media in April on Chelsea’s 35th birthday. When Chelsea posted photos on her account celebrating her big day, Kwame didn’t “like” or comment on the Instagram photos, raising eyebrows.

A few days after Chelsea’s birthday in April, she shared a photo with Kwame on her Instagram Story of the couple sitting next to each other on lounge chairs. “Sitting on what used to be a pile of dirt and lumber,” she wrote alongside the April 29 photo. “Enjoying the bonus porch.”

Neither Chelsea nor Kwame acknowledged their fourth anniversary of marriage, which was on May 7, as they had done in previous years through social media.

Chelsea Griffin Removed Married Name From Instagram
Chelsea previously wrote “Chelsea Griffin Appiah” in her Instagram bio, but internet pundits noticed in May that she changed it to “Chelsea Griffin.” It is not known when he changed.
Her bio also reads: “soft hearted โก๐ถ dog mama โข ๐ aunt โข ๐ฃ๏ธ slp for children” and confirms that she was there Love Is Blind.
