Barbara Palvin Pregnancy After Endometriosis Challenges

Seriously, these pictures are amazing!!! What a way to reveal your pregnancy. Wow.
The news is incredibly exciting for all kinds of reasons, not least because of Barbara’s history with endometriosis, which can affect fertility.
According to the World Health Organization, endometriosis affects approximately 10% of women (190 million) worldwide. Despite this, there is no doubt about the lack of knowledge about this disease, which currently has no known cure.
Less than a year ago, in August 2025, Barbara revealed in her Instagram post that she underwent lifelong surgery for endometriosis.
Opening up about her diagnosis, Barbara wrote that she had been dealing with “fatigue, extreme pain, heavy and irregular flow,” and “sleepless nights on the toilet” for a long time. “I have been seeing my gynecologist every year, I thought if I had endometriosis I would know about it by now,” she wrote. But as it turns out, endometriosis cannot be diagnosed with routine tests.
Barbara said she was advised to see an “endometriosis specialist,” and three months later, she underwent surgery that improved her symptoms significantly. “I ended up having an easier time, and now I know the difference. If you suspect you may have endometriosis, I encourage you to get it,” she continued. “It helped me a lot, and I’m glad I did it.” Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and I now pay more attention to my body to act quickly if needed.
Barbara and Dylan have both used their platforms to raise awareness of endometriosis and the painful complications it can cause. Now, thanks to the happy news of the couple’s pregnancy, people with endometriosis are talking about how good it is to see her healthy, thriving and pregnant!
“As an endometriosis specialist, I am very happy for them! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy and baby!” one Reddit user wrote, echoed by another who added, “As someone who suffers from endometriosis, this is really amazing to hear 💕 I wish them the best!!”
One with endo wrote, “Before I had a baby, it always made me feel better to see other endo sufferers get pregnant.”
“Endo is a dog. I’m HAPPY his surgery went well and they’re pregnant 🩷,” added another. “It’s not a joke and I wish more people knew about it.”
“Endo is a painful disease that can affect the body in many serious ways. It really needs more research and awareness,” another user wrote, before calling out celebs like Barbara, Lili Reinhart, and Bindi Irwin, all of whom have spoken publicly about their experiences with this condition.
Congratulations, Barbara and Dylan!!! Here’s to a happy and healthy pregnancy – and the most amazing fashion!
