‘Everything will be alright in the end’

President Trump on Monday lashed out at Democrats and “unpatriotic” Republicans who criticized him for not striking a deal to end the war with Iran, telling them to “sit back and relax, everything will be fine in the end.”

“Iran really wants to make a deal, and it will be good for the USA and our allies,” Trump wrote on Truth Social before attacking his opponents.

“But the Dumocrats, and various seemingly unpatriotic Republicans, don’t understand that it’s HARD for me to do my job properly and negotiate when political hacks keep ‘chirping’ at unprecedented levels, over and over again, that I should go fast, or go slow, or go to war, or not go to war, or whatever.

Trump’s comments come after the US Central Command conducted defensive strikes on Iran’s radar, command and control drone sites in Goruk and Qeshm Island.

“Calculated and deliberate strikes took place on Saturday and Sunday in response to Iranian aggression including the downing of a US MQ-1 drone operating in international waters,” CENTCOM said.

“US warplanes responded quickly by destroying Iranian air defenses, a ground control station, and two one-way attack drones that posed clear threats to ships passing through regional waters.

“No American service members were harmed. CENTCOM will continue to protect US assets and interests in response to unwarranted Iranian aggression during the ongoing ceasefire.”

Meanwhile, Kuwait said its air defense opened fire on Monday morning to stop drone and missile attacks.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in a statement sent by the state-run news agency IRNA that the US forces targeted the telecommunications tower.

The guard said he responded to the attack without saying where, possibly referring to the attack on Kuwait, which is home to the US Army Central, the Mideast forward command for the Army.

The attack represents the latest escalation between the two nations, as both insist they continue to negotiate, particularly over Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

Last week, Trump lashed out at his GOP critics amid reports that the US would lift its embargo on Iranian ports if Tehran gave up its highly enriched uranium.

“I laugh at all the Dumocrats, RINOS, and idiots who know nothing about a potential deal with Iran, things that haven’t been negotiated,” Trump said.

Trump lashed out at Senator Thom Tillis, Representative Bill Cassidy, and “sleazebag” Congressman Thomas Massie, in particular.

Cassidy, who voted to impeach Trump on charges of sedition following a Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol protest, was denied a third term by Louisiana Republican voters last month, while Massie (R-Ky.) lost to Trump’s handpicked challenger, Ed Gallrein.

“These people should go home and rest, they are doing nothing but creating division and loss. In other words, they are losers! Trump exploded.

“A deal with Iran will be good and meaningful, or there will be no deal.”
