LARRY KUDLOW: Can we really win the Iran war without more bombing?

FOX Business host Larry Kudlow discusses US-Iran peace talks and President Donald Trump’s ‘no bad deal’ stance on Iran’s nuclear program on ‘Kudlow.’
As always, I have a lot of faith in President Trump’s dealings, and now he’s trying to set the tone for war with Iran, which seems to me 90 or 95 percent extreme. Mr. Trump is the only president in nearly 50 years who has the courage and vision to destroy the hard-line Islamic regime in Iran, and he has been largely successful.
He will not make a bad deal. And he continues to maintain his red lines of denuclearization, giving up their enriched uranium, scaling back their missile programs, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz to freedom of navigation. He caught those red lines. The question is, can these red line goals be achieved without reactivating the war? We certainly do not want to give any economic aid to Iran.
On Public Truth Sunday the president said “The Blockade will remain in full effect until an agreement is reached, ratified, and signed.” Good. He also clearly stated that Iran cannot build or buy a nuclear weapon or bomb. Good.
In other words, no dust, no dollars. This is in place. The minute we do an Obama-style investment in Iran, they will go out and use it to rebuild their weapons, their nuclear activities, and their state funding of terrorism. They will do so. Iran is the worst, inhumane, Nazi-like regime of the last 100 years.
Fox News senior strategic analyst Gen. Jack Keane (back) joins ‘Mornings with Maria’ to examine US strikes on Iran, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and President Donald Trump’s next move.
It is a modern day Gestapo that is reported to have killed over 40,000 people this year alone. It must be stopped. And the performance of Mr. Trump’s military Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury, as well as his Economic Fury, led by Treasury Secretary Man Scott Bessent, almost drove Iran out and ended the job.
But during the negotiations, you have Iran trying to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz and firing missiles at American naval vessels. So we shot again successfully. But it turns out, this is a crowd that can never be trusted. They lie, cheat and steal as a way of life. They never keep assurance promises. All mainly because they are not a civilized state.
Instead, they choose to discuss how they will negotiate in the future. Giving lists and conditions that have nothing to do with reality, but prolongs the discussions forever.
Now Mr. Trump knows all this. Well, anyway, he was very involved in talking to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or some group, or someone there. We went from a two-week layoff, then another week, and then an indefinite ceasefire. We may be in another phase of the 60-day negotiations. Yet with all this, this question must be faced: to do well on his red lines, to set the stage for a new era of peace and freedom in the Middle East and throughout the world, even to extend the Abrahamic Covenant including Israel, can these good historical messengers really be eliminated without more bombings?
