Melinda Gates Asked About Forgiving Ex Bill Gates After Epstein Files

Melinda French Gates she is not ready to forgive her ex-husband Bill Gates following their messy divorce – and her name was included in the Epstein files.

“That’s a work in progress,” Melinda, 61, shared during the Thursday, February 5, episode of NPR’s “Wild Card with Rachel Martin” podcast. “I think I’m getting there.”

Melinda did not give any more information about this topic, explaining that for now “she is going to keep herself to me”. However, Melinda said that she is good at forgiveness in general.

“I learned that forgiveness can take a long time, you can’t rush it,” he explained. “You have to go through everything.”

Melinda said it “takes me a while to process” certain situations – especially what went wrong. He used the example of a close friendship in the podcast.

“I have known this person for a long time, he speaks the truth. I speak the truth to him, but we put some things together,” he added. “How do I forgive that? How do I tell him what I need? How do I manage my part? It takes time to do that.”

He added, “I ask for forgiveness from everyone, because if you can’t forgive someone in the end, you’re hurting yourself. I don’t want to live my life hurting myself.”

Melinda noted that forgiving someone “doesn’t mean I need to be close to them.” But he is able to forgive the situation and finally “move on.”

“That’s part of healing and being true to yourself and having your side of the road,” she added. “I always say, keep your side of the road clean, if you can.

Melinda and Bill were married for 27 years before announcing in May 2021 that they were separating. He previously revealed that his relationship with a sex trafficker is dead Jeffrey Epstein it was one of the reasons why their relationship ended in divorce.

A clip from NPR’s “Wild Card” podcast that aired Tuesday, February 3, featured Melinda talking to her ex-husband who was named in the latest installment of the Epstein Files, which was released late last month. An unsent email purportedly written by Epstein said Bill slept with “two Russian girls” and contracted a sexually transmitted disease. The message went on to say that Bill, who received the antibiotics for the STI, would unwittingly give them to Melinda.

Bill said the email was “false” when he spoke to 9 News Australia on Wednesday, February 4.

“I don’t know what he was thinking there. Was he trying to attack me somehow?” asked the tech giant. “Every minute I spent with him, I regret it, and I’m sorry that I did that.”
