What happened in ‘Euphoria’ Season 3, Episode 3?

HBOEpisode 3 finally put Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) the much-anticipated wedding took center stage, and of course, the story quickly turned chaotic — even violent. Cassie got herself $50,000 worth of flowers, but Naz saw that as excessive wealth.Jack Topalian), dangerous loan shark Nate owes him half a million dollars. Naz crashes the wedding, and the event becomes a pressure cooker for Nate’s financial issues and the fragile foundation of his relationship with his now-wife. Finally, Nate can’t speak fluently without losing his red toe in an act of revenge violence by Naz. Worst wedding day ever?
Meanwhile, Rue (Zendaya) is still caught up in the increasingly dangerous criminal activities of being an Alamo employee (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). Rue leaves the wedding festivities to join the Bishop (Darrell Britt-Gibson) to deal with Laurie (Martha Kelly) as a covert revenge mission to eat his beloved pet idiot, Paladin. We also learn that Jules (Hunter Schafer(Sam Trammell).
The wedding also reunited Jules and Nate and Jules and Nate’s father, Cal (Eric Dane), had a brief sexual relationship with in season 1, both offering closure to their individual relationships. What we don’t get is closure in the relationship between Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Nate, as the wedding proves too emotionally powerful for Maddy, who ends up throwing the wedding some time after Rue leaves.
What will happen in ‘Euphoria’ Season 3, Episode 4?
Based on the episode 4 trailer, and following Rue’s shocking arrest at the end of episode 3, it looks like she’s making a deal with the feds to give them information on Laurie and Alamo in exchange for reduced charges (or maybe no charges at all?). Jules meets Lexi (Maude Apatow) for an acting role, and meets Lexi’s manager (Sharon Stone). Nate goes to court over his “white fritillary” stories, and Maddy begins to guide Cassie in her dreams of social media stardom. Laurie also mourns the loss of Paladin, and she and her boys deliberately plan how to get back to the Alamo. The trailer ends with Rue and the stripper Magick (Rosalia) held up at gunpoint.
