With 18 holes remaining at Aronimink, the player who will lift the Wanamaker trophy Sunday night is anyone’s guess.

Alex Smalley shot 54 holes at 6 under. But Smalley has never won a PGA Tour event, let alone a major one. Jon Rahm, tied for second at four under, has. This two-time player is determined to complete the third leg of the Grand Slam.

Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and Patrick Reed are among a large group of players shot back at three under. Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler will enter the final round five shots back at one under.
