John Travolta models another beret at Cannes after being trolled for a new look

John Travolta doubles down on his bold choice of headwear.
The actor, 72, wore another beret during the filming of his new movie, “Propeller One-Way Night Coach,” at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.
Travolta looked perfect in an all black outfit, which included a black beret. Travolta happily poses with his hands up for the photographers, wearing a velvet button-down shirt, matching pants and boots.
The “Grease” star was wearing wire-rimmed glasses and had dyed facial hair, looking very different from what fans are used to.
Travolta caused a stir with his new look at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, when he rocked a cream fur beret and suit at the premiere of his film, his directorial debut.
He walked the red carpet and posed for pictures with his 26-year-old daughter, Ella, who is starring in the film by his side. Ella once again stole the show in a stunning black and diamond dress.
“The Propeller One-Way Night Coach” follows a young aviation enthusiast named Jeff and his mother, who take a one-way, cross-country trip to Hollywood, according to Variety.
Ella plays a flight attendant in the film.
Travolta posted about being awarded the Cannes Palme d’Or – the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award – on his Instagram on Friday.
“I have never been more proud to win an award!” he wrote. “For me the Cannes Palme d’Or award has always represented art at its best.
Travolta has been rocking berets as of late.
In an Instagram video with Ella that she posted on Friday about flying to Cannes, she was wearing a blue dress, including a blue beret.
Travolta shared Ella with his late wife, Kelly Preston, who died of breast cancer at the age of 57 in 2020.
The couple welcomed two sons, Ben, 15, and Jett, who died aged 16 in January 2009 after collapsing while on holiday in the Bahamas.
Last month, the A-list actress proudly shared a photo of her look-alike daughter at the Fashion Trust US Awards in Los Angeles, looking stunning in a chic black Blumarine high-neck dress.
“See Ella at the beginning of my book, ‘Propeller One-Way Night Coach,'” he wrote.
