‘Gender affirming’ care turned Canadian school shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar into a monster — this MUST end

If it wasn’t already, the horror story of Jesse Van Rootselaar makes it painfully clear that the “best practices” our health care industry has accepted for “gender dysphoria” cases are completely true. badly.

Radical activists somehow convinced health and mental health institutions that “gender-affirming care” was the only answer – when in fact it was destroying the lives of confused children.

So-called responsible and caring adults use children as cannon fodder, setting them up for total mutilation.

It’s reassuring something that (in all but a small percentage of cases) is only a transient disorder that worsens even in the absence of life-changing hormone therapy and/or surgery.

Especially if the underlying problem is a significant mental illness, which cannot be treated.

Consider this: In all other cases where a young person believes that something is wrong with his healthy body, the adults responsible for caregiving advise the child to reconcile his ideas with reality.

We do not tell an anorexic girl who believes she is fat to diet or offer bariatric surgery; we teach him to eat healthy and develop a good sense of his body.

But over the past decade or so, “experts” have told children who feel confused about their changing bodies or developing gender that their problems can be solved through “social change” often accompanied by medical intervention to correct the “fault” that placed them in the “wrong” gender body.

An entire industry has sprung up to ensure that these unfortunate young people – who are often emotionally or mentally disturbed – are kept in their belief that they are indeed “heterosexual”.

A boy who says he says you are a girl is something the girl in this taxonomy is lost, and anyone who asks for a “diagnosis” knows nothing, but it is possible that she is a deadly enemy.

Taking an unstable young man, giving him powerful hormones and telling him that the entire structure of history, society and biology is conspired against him is a recipe for disaster.

Young boys can act in unexpected and even dangerous ways outside irreparable drug treatment or surgery on their genitals: Confirming wild allegations and warning them that society hates them is like releasing time bombs into the world.

We have seen it now many elementary school shooters – Robin Westman and Audrey Hale, two – within a few years: The dysfunction must end.

Also, very few people’s lives can be legitimately improved by the reassignment of sex; they should be treated with compassion – but the over-diagnosis of gender dysphoria has become a scourge.

Jesse Van Rootselaar needed serious psychiatric treatment; instead he got toxic propaganda, drugs and easy access to guns.

This madness must end.
