Timothee Chalamet hosts The Post as celebrities celebrate Knicks’ NBA Finals

The stars, they are like us.
Maybe not Jalen Brunson in this case, who scored 45 points to power the Knicks from a 16-point deficit to their first NBA championship in 53 years Saturday night with a 94-90 Game 5 victory in San Antonio.
But the Knicks’ celebrity fans felt good about the end of the title drought.
Timothée Chalamet was very noticeable and visible.
The four-time Oscar-nominated actor, who was seen taking a deep breath during the tense final moments, gave an honest reaction after the results.
“There’s more to it than the Oscars, come on, baby! The Knicks are champions, baby!” Chalamet, who has been nominated for four Oscars but has yet to win one, booed during the trophy ceremony, where Brunson was named series MVP.
He later held up a photo of The Post in a photo with Mikal Bridges courtside at the Frost Bank Center.
Chalamet then made his rounds among the Knicks, mostly hugging Knicks great Allan Houston and owner James Dolan.
“World players, baby!” he shouted in a video posted on social media.
After the final buzzer, the ESPN broadcast flashed to Spike Lee, who was yelling through a group of friends in the stands as the Knicks bench erupted on the court in cheers.
He was later seen hugging actor – and “Do the Right Thing” – star John Turturro on the radio before the two were seen hugging Knicks players and staff during the win along with Knicks fan Tracy Morgan.
Walt “Clyde” Frazier had nothing but a smile on his face after the win. Patrick Ewing was also seen wearing a championship hat, cheering on the Knicks during their trophy ceremony and hugging other players.
In the final 20 seconds of the game, Ewing and Houston could be seen giving each other high points in pure excitement.
It’s been a long time coming for the Knicks, and the weight of that was felt Saturday night.
A floater from Brunson gave the Knicks a 90-88 fourth quarter lead with just 1:05 left, and even after the game remained tight, the Knicks held on for the win.
The celebrations will only continue for Knicks fans and all of New York for Thursday’s championship game.
