The Wife Awoke To Find The Man Locking Her In Her Bed

A man will spend the next few years in prison after a Pennsylvania woman awoke to find him barricaded in her bed, leaving behind a large kitchen knife and an extension cord when her screams startled him.
The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday, June 1, that a Bucks County Common Pleas judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. you are condemned Nafis Lamont Donte Fisher to serve four and a half to 10 years in state prison, to be followed by five consecutive years.
Fisher, 34, was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges including burglary, aggravated assault, robbery, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and simple assault.
He was arrested following an incident that occurred on October 7, 2025, around 2:47 a.m. At the time, a woman and her adult daughter were in their home in Upper Southampton Township, Pennsylvania, when the daughter “woke up to find Fisher restraining her from her bed,” according to the DA’s report.
“His screams forced Fisher to release him and run from the room,” the announcement explained. “In the hallway, Fisher encountered the victim’s mother and had a brief fight before fleeing through the kitchen, basement, and attached garage.”
The Upper Southampton Police Department was called and reported to the scene, where they found “a large kitchen knife left on the victim’s bed and a 12-foot rope on the floor next to it.”
Fisher drove away from home in a black car with the AirPods, ID, credit and debit cards and US passport he had stolen from the home. Authorities were eventually able to track him down using technology linked to the audio device.
“Law enforcement successfully tracked Fisher in real time by using the ‘FindMy’ feature on the victim’s stolen AirPods,” the DA’s office said. “The tracking signal led officers from Upper Southampton, down the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and into Delaware County before stopping near Aramingo Avenue and E. Somerset Street in Philadelphia.”
Investigators enlisted the help of the Philadelphia Police Department to locate Fisher, who was found “resting” inside a black 2014 Kia Forte.
“To confirm the suspect’s identity, an Upper Southampton police officer remotely activated the AirPods, which produced an audible sound inside the vehicle. Fisher was immediately arrested and later confessed to the investigation,” the press release said.
The incident left a devastating impact on the victims, and the Bucks County First Assistant District Attorney Kristin McElroy calling Fisher’s crime “the most heinous type of burglary.”
The DA’s office said the older daughter, 25, said she is “always scared when I’m alone at night” and that regular nighttime noises now cause her to have “full-blown panic attacks.”
Meanwhile, the mother has been dealing with constant fear, severe anxiety and sleep disturbances since Fisher broke into their home.
