Earlier this week, Dess Dior took to her Instagram Story to show fans how training was going on her ‘Take Notes’ tour. In the videos, he was seen accompanying his back-up dancers, performing their songs.
As the clips circulated online, fans quickly started reacting to her appearance. One commenter wrote, “Dess, tell me right now how you grew that!!” Someone joked, “Desereee? Destiny??? Dessert??? May I ask what you said back thereeeee.” While responding to the conversation, one fan said, “Did baby Dess go and climb on that table?” But Dess quickly shut down the rumours, replying, “I didn’t. I would have my stomach shidddddd.”
Dess Dior Calls Out Critics For Being Hyper-Fixated On Women’s Bodies
On Snapchat, Dess Dior continued to comment on her body and weight. One person asked the rapper, “When did the tension stop? Did you do the work?” In his response to the round, Dess reportedly said, “You’re going to annoy me af. I was fat, old and fat! I’m just not moving my butt so you can see how fat I am lol.”
Dess Dior also appeared to address the ongoing discussion in another video. The rapper shared his thoughts on people who were always criticizing and over-analyzing women’s looks online.
“Don’t you’all think you’all hyper-fixate on women’s too much? Like when it comes to physical appearance. I always talk about someone’s facial features, someone’s arms, someone’s feet, thighs, someone’s a**, someone’s stomach. You always hyper-fixate on every detail a woman has in her body,” he said.
Dess Dior went on to explain that people often assume that women have had surgery whenever their body changes naturally after gaining weight. The rapper also talked about how women are criticized in any way, whether they stay natural or decide to have a career. He later recommended a lot of food for his recent weight gain, sain said. “As if it is sick. But hey, I don’t know what the science behind it is. It’s just annoying. I’m thick. It just is what it is. I ate a lot. You want to gain weight, eat. Like unbelievable.”
