‘Mormon Wives’ star Mikayla Matthews teases her ‘fallout’ amid Jace Terry split

Mikayla Matthews has admitted her “fall” on the TikTok show after revealing her split from husband Jace Terry.

In Thursday’s social media game, the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star spoke out and told her fans to “not even worry about eating meat.” [her] fall.”

The Hulu man sneered, “I’m already down. The horse is already down. You don’t have to beat me. I’m down.”

News has emerged in the last few hours that the couple (pictured above in March 2025) have separated after eight years of marriage.

The reality star, who was wearing a pink tee and sweats, captioned the video, “Attitude today and everyday [thank you].”

Matthews posted the video hours after news broke of his split from Terry after eight years of marriage and four children.

The MomTok star, who shares Beckham, 8, Haven, 6, Tommie, 4, and Lottie, 7 months, with her partner, made the revelation during a confessional on Thursday’s episode of the show’s fourth season.

“We both agreed to part ways,” he told viewers before packing his belongings at the scene.

“I don’t think it’s like with the intention of being separated forever,” he explained. “I think it’s obvious that we’ll still see each other every day. I don’t even try to spend a day away from the kids.”

The 25-year-old explained that she needed treatment for her mysterious terminal illness because “her bucket is so [too] full” to be “motivated” to solve her intimacy problems with her husband.

Matthews opened up about her split on Thursday’s episode of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

Matthews, in particular, was sexually abused in the past, and the two have been in couples therapy for their problems in the bedroom.

“Sexual intimacy… [is] his No. 1 need and that’s my No. 1 wound,” he laughed.

Matthews noted that “it could take weeks or months” to heal, leaving the timeline for the separation unclear.

“There’s a part of me that I’m afraid of losing him because I feel like our marriage is pretty good without the sex part of it,” she said.

She and Terry “have no intention of being separated forever.”
Matthews, who had a chronic illness, had no “motivation” to deal with their relationship issues, she told viewers.

The pair have been married since March 2018, having met the year before when Matthews was 16 and pregnant with their first child.

“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Season 4 is now available to stream on Hulu.
