The 22-year-old Northern Kentucky University student has been missing for nearly a week

A Kentucky student has been missing for nearly a week after she “never made it to class” — and “concerns for their safety” are growing with each passing day since she disappeared.
Murry “Alexis” Foust, 22, a student at Northern Kentucky University, was reported missing after she was last seen on Monday, April 27, according to the Covington Police Department.
“There is concern for their safety, and your opinion would be important,” Covington police wrote in a statement.
Foust was recently seen on surveillance footage walking in Latonia, carrying a bright yellow backpack and wearing a black jacket, T-shirt, patterned pants, and sneakers, according to photos released by the department Friday.
Foust has not been found since Sunday, with friends pleading with the public to help find the student who disappeared after “failing in class.”
“Murry never made it in class and has been missing ever since,” close friend Charlie King wrote in a Facebook post.
“Murry’s car was found at their residence in Latonia (Kenton County, Kentucky) near Decoursey Ave. Their purse was found at NKU. Police searched Murry’s house and found their cell phone,” said King.
“There is no sign of Murry anywhere, and their friends, family, and one of my best friends, their partner, are all very worried. Right now, it’s important that we start spreading the word and searching.”
King added that Foust was “in good spirits” before he went missing, despite being on medication for a documented mental health disorder.
“This behavior is unheard of for Murry, and we are all alarmed,” added King. “Time is of the essence, and Murry’s friends and family are very concerned.”
NKU said in a statement sent by The Post that the university is cooperating with the police since the search for Foust is now in its second week.
“Northern Kentucky University is aware that one of our students, Murry (Alexis) Foust, has been reported missing,” a university spokesperson said.
“We are deeply concerned, and our thoughts are with their family, friends, and all those affected. The Covington Police Department is leading the investigation, and we are fully cooperating and supporting their efforts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Covington Police.”
Foust is Caucasian with shoulder-length dyed black hair, choppy bangs, and brown eyes, according to King.
They are 5’7 and have tattoos, including a geometric striped pattern on their elbows, a ram’s skull on their upper arm, and an image of Jesus Christ crucified on one of their aprons.
Police urge anyone with information about Foust’s disappearance to call 911 or 859-292-2234.
