Ilia Malinin Joyfully Presents His Gold Medal To Tara Lipinski’s Daughter

Lipinski, 43, took to Instagram on Tuesday, February 17, with a beautiful moment between Malinin, 21, and her 2-year-old daughter, Georgie, which she shared with her husband. Todd Kapostasy. In the photo, Malinin beamed at the camera as he placed his gold medal, which he won in the figure skating team event, on top of Georgie’s head. Then he picked her up and put her on his lap.

Malinin also revealed that he received “a lot of love” and “support” from fans and other athletes, including Tom Brady again Simone Biles.
Biles, who withdrew from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after facing these setbacks, told NBC on Tuesday, “I definitely had the opportunity to meet him. I also sent him messages and on Instagram, obviously everything was private because I know what he’s going through and I know a lot of athletes might not be able to watch it, and it’s really hard.”
Biles added, “I see her coming out on top after this. We’re all cheering for her.”
