Jelly Roll Talks About Wife Bunnie Xo Is A Gold Digger

Jelly Roll he spoke about the allegations that his wife, Bunnie Xo, is “the gold mine” in their marriage.

“I like it when they call him a golden digger,” Jelly Roll, 41, said recently A Taste of Country Night. “He hates it. It just burns him.”

Jelly Roll, on the other hand, finds it amusing.

“But it tickled me pink because when I met him,” he commented, “I was homeless living in a conversion van in 1996, so if anyone was digging for gold it was me, Popeye.

Bunnie Xo, 46, has been married to Jelly Roll since 2016. The couple has been open about the ups and downs of their relationship. Recently, Bunnie Xo wrote about their early dating days in her memoir, including talking about Jelly Roll’s infidelity.

“I tried to be as realistic as possible in this situation,” he said to himself Us Weekly with his book, Beat Down: Unfiltered and Unapologeticwhich came out in February. “I think I may have let you down.”

Bunnie Xo didn’t want to hold back, adding, “It’s really important to be real. My husband is my best friend. I love that man – and we’ve been through hell.”

The content creator learned that “love is not always good.”

“It’s raw, it’s emotional and it’s a journey,” he added. “I’m so happy for people who haven’t had to deal with anything abusive in their relationship. But I feel like my husband and I have to go through that because it’s part of our testimony. It’s part of what we’ve survived – we choose to be together every day.”

Before the release of Stripped Down, Bunnie Xo gave her husband the first copy.

“He’s reading it now, and as I was writing the chapters, I was saying to him, ‘Do you want me to send you this book?’ And you say, ‘No, I just want to read it when it comes out. Speak your truth.’ “My husband has never stopped me from being creative,” she said. “That’s one thing I love about my husband. He’s been my No. 1 supporter.”

Jelly Roll praised his wife for being open.

“It was hard for me to read at times,” he told People last month. “We went through a lot of pain and had to go through it together, but reading the whole book and seeing where it ended up is really touching.”

Jelly Roll continued: “I’m proud of her for telling her story without regret. I mean, she’s fearlessly speaking about everything, from domestic abuse to sexual assault. I’m proud of her. She’s brave.”
