Ilhan Omar now says her husband made less than $1K from all his jobs last year

The scarred lawyer Ilhan Omar and her husband have moved out of the dormitory to the poor house.

The husband of the Minnesota firebrand “Squad” – who once valued his business and wine empire up to $ 30 million – now says that he invests as little as $ 200 a year.

The embattled socialite said her husband Tim Mynett made no money last year at his big business, Rose Lake Capital, according to his newly released 2025 financial disclosure report.

The only money Mynett — who has nearly two decades of experience in DC — received last year was $200 to $1,000 from his defunct California-based wine business StCru, which sold bottles like “The Devil’s Lie” before going belly-up in April.

Omar said the couple’s net worth was between $20,000 and $125,000 in 2025, and their credit card and student loan debt was between $30,000 and $100,000 — making their net worth $80,000-$95,000, according to the report.

The impressive financial disclosure comes after the couple in 2024 reported a sudden fortune – ranging slightly to between $5 million and $30 million – which sparked public scrutiny.

That prompted a congressional investigation into Omar’s finances, just as a massive social services fraud scheme involving the Somali community in his district was swelling.

In response, Somali-born Omar filed an amended financial disclosure for 2024 in March, listing the value of Mynett’s half ownership in both businesses at zero. He pointed out the “inconsistency” of the accounting error.

Although the businesses are reported to be passive, Rose Lake Capital still brings in between $100,000 and $1 million and the wine business between $2,500 and $5,000 that year, according to amended disclosures.

“Voters saw through Ilhan Omar’s vicious lies,” Republican National Committee spokeswoman Delanie Bomar told The Post. “Omar spent his entire career covering up Democratic fraud that cost taxpayers billions, so it’s no surprise that he would do the same to his husband.”

Mynett, 44, launched Rose Lake Capital in 2022 with his longtime business partner, Will Hailer, another Democratic operative.

Omar and Mynett met while working on his 2018 campaign through his former business, eStreet Group.

The two met while working for Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison in 2012 when he was running for re-election to Congress.

Ellison, who was caught on tape being bribed by Somali fraudsters — a claim he denies, saying he took the meeting seriously — resigned from the House seat in 2018 to make room for Omar, a move Hailer orchestrated.

Omar’s office did not return The Post’s request.
