The rapper is addressing allegations that he exploited the student’s death to promote one of his events, insisting that his intentions were true. And you already know, he didn’t hold back slowly.

Boosie Pushes Back Against Official Heat
Boosie revealed that he was recently hospitalized after an illness, and that the depression was related to the case of the Attorney General of Louisiana, Liz Murrill, for his use of the name of Caleb Wilson. Wilson, a 20-year-old junior at Southern University, died in February 2025 following an incident involving members of the Beta Sigma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. After the tragedy, Boosie announced a memorial scholarship in Wilson’s honor while promoting the sixth event held at Boosie’s Southern University.
Never one to keep quiet, the rapper later headed to X on February 21 to settle the dispute directly after it was reported that he had been released from the hospital. He wrote:
“He just got out of the HOSPITAL IM GOOD I JUST CHECKED IT I LET THIS WOMAN GET THE BETTER OF ME THROUGH THESE BUGS**TA** The guilt made me sick SH*T IS JUST NOT BAD N BAD WHAT HE DOES I AM GOING TO ADD THIS TO MY BOOKLET I’M GOING TO THE MALL TO GET READY TO FIGHT DETROIT”

Boosie Calls Ben Crump Calls, Wants to Be Destroyed
It doesn’t stop there! Recently, Boosie also shared a video asking attorney Ben Crump for help after the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office filed a motion to compel him to answer for his use of Caleb Wilson’s name. In the clip, Boosie not only asked Crump to come in officially but also to help reveal what he described as “powerful people” he believes he has been targeting him for years. He said the attorney general is trying to destroy and “take it [him] down,” urging Louisianans to stand up for him amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Wilson’s tragic death.
