Hallmark’s Andrew Walker Gives a Review of Curious Food Mystery

Andrew Walker everything else Curious Caterer Mysteries — but has Hallmark greenlit the next installment?
“I wish there would be updates about Curious Caterer,” Walker, 46, said to himself Us Weekly in April while promoting his latest Hallmark rom-com Kentucky Rosespremiered on Saturday, May 2.
Said the actor Us that fans of the mystery franchise need to “message Hallmark and go to the discussion groups and tell them how much you miss Curious Caterer.”
Walker then joked that he and the costar Nikki DeLoach they’re just waiting for the network to sign off on filming the next chapter in Detective Tom Shultz and the story of Goldy Berry the chef.

He also confirmed that he is “there” and “nothing is planned for my schedule,” so he will happily start shooting whenever the team is ready.
I Curious Caterer Mysteries the franchise began operations in 2022 with Dying for Chocolate. The movie series – now five films in total – focuses on salesman Goldy (DeLoach) as he stumbles upon murders and must team up with local detective Tom (Walker) to solve them.
During the movie 2024, Plans FailedTom and Goldy shared their first kiss and have been a couple ever since – but fans haven’t been able to see much of their love story yet.

He also shared that if the next film gets a greenlit viewers will get to know more about the “peripheral characters,” including Goldy’s assistant and best friend, Marla Maguire (Jaycie Dotin), and Tom’s right-hand deputy Mason (Riley Davis).
“Now it’s about how the characters are individually [Goldy and Tom] their side hustle? And where do they come from, and what are their hobbies and the fun things they like to do?” Walker explained. “Because they have developed so much, those characters, even though they are not in it like Tom and Goldy. But I think there’s just a lot of fun there.”
As fans wait to see what happens next Curious CatererTom and Goldy, can catch Walker in his latest rom-com, Kentucky Roses. The film, which focuses on the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs, premiered Saturday and is now streaming on Hallmark+.

Hallmark Media“I play Ash Taylor. And Ash is a guy who goes after what he wants,” Walker said Us about his character. “He swore and asserted that he would not come back to work for his father, he moved to Cincinnati and is living his dream, and his father is calling him because he needs mercy.”
The actor explained that when the spire at Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby horse races, is damaged two weeks before the big race, Ash is called in to repair it.
While in town, Ash meets Sadie Moore (Odette Annable), who “comes from a long line of greenhouse workers” with a history with Churchill Downs himself.
“Love wasn’t at the forefront of her mind,” Annable, 40, told Self Us in April. “Yes, she meets Ash Taylor … and their love story continues in this really fun, beautiful, live [way].”
