Dianna Russini looked ‘careless’ at NYC dinner with husband amid scandal with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel: report

Former NFL inside linebacker Dianna Russini reportedly treated herself to dinner in the Big Apple with her husband before heading to a concert Saturday night — seemingly unfazed by her scandal with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel.
Russini and her husband, Shake Shack CEO Kevin Goldschmidt, looked relaxed as they dined with a large group of friends at Bourbon and Branch Bar in Midtown before heading to Madison Square Garden to catch Bruce Springsteen, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.
“They were very happy,” the witness told the newspaper.
“They were having fun with a big group of friends. They had a lot of food and drinks ordered at their table and they didn’t care about everything that was going on.”
The rapist said that the couple were always close to each other and did not worry if anyone knew them.
The former The Athletic reporter and Vrabel’s tumultuous private life came into focus last month after Page Six published exclusive photos of the couple holding hands at a resort in Arizona in March.
Vrabel called the story “laughable,” while Russini denied any legality, adding that they were on a group tour, which has yet to be confirmed.
Some explosive photos released by Page Six show Vrabel and Russini — both married to other people — seen kissing at a Tribeca bar in Manhattan in March 2020.
These photos were taken six months before she married her husband with whom she has two children.
TMZ also reported that the pair chartered a private yacht together in Tennessee in June 2021 — just months before she gave birth to her first child that August. At the time, Russini was covering the Tennessee Titans for ESPN while Vrabel was the head coach.
The mother of two has been quiet since resigning from The Athletic on April 14.
The New York Times, which owns The Athletic, is in the midst of an internal investigation into the matter.
Vrabel, a father of two who has been married to his wife Jen since 1999, answered questions ahead of the 2026 NFL draft, calling the situation a “personal and private matter” without naming Russini or addressing the scandalous photos.
He told reporters that he had “difficult conversations with people I care about,” calling those conversations “good and productive.”
Vrabel spent the first two nights of the draft with the Patriots before leaving to seek “counseling” and focus on himself during the draft weekend.
The Patriots stood by their head coach and said they support his “decision to put his family and well-being first” in a statement.
The NFL said it is not investigating Vrabel’s conduct, and he was not disciplined by the Patriots organization.
