Britney Spears Invited Cops to Lasagna for DUI Arrest

Britney Spears invited police to his house to get lasagna and use his pool when he was arrested in March DUI, according to a newly released video.
“You can come to my house. I’ll make you a meal or lasagna or whatever you want. I have a pool,” Spears, 44, told officers when he was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County, California, on March 4, as seen in a video published by TMZ on Thursday, May 21.
Spears also spoke with a British accent at times, according to a police report obtained by Us Weekly.
“His mood changed from confrontational and angry to arrogant and compliant,” the arresting officer noted in his report.
The police report noted that the officer who pulled the singer over detected a “distinct smell of alcohol” in his car. Spears told police she had only had one champagne mimosa seven hours earlier.
“Maybe I can drink four bottles of wine and take care of you, I’m an angel,” she said.
According to the report, the “Womanizer” singer confirmed that she had taken prescription drugs on the day of her arrest, including 200mg of the anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer Lamictal, 40mg of the antidepressant Prozac and 2.5mg of the ADHD medication Adderall.
“[An officer] he found a brown bag containing a bottle of pills labeled ‘Adderall,’ which was not written to Spears,” the report said.[The officer] they also observed an empty wine glass in the cup holder between the front driver’s seat and the front passenger’s seat.”
Us Weekly has reached out to a representative for Spears for comment.
Spears was initially charged with drunken driving, but the star pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of “reckless driving” in early May as part of a plea deal.
“In her plea today, Britney has accepted responsibility for her behavior,” Spears’ attorney, Michael Goldsteinyou have been told Us in a statement dated May 4. “She has taken important steps to make a positive change, which is clearly evident in the Ventura County District Attorney’s decision to reduce the charge in this case and dismiss the DUI. Britney appreciates this understanding and is grateful for the outpouring of support she has received.”
“This was an unfortunate and unprovoked incident,” a spokesperson for Spears said Us following his arrest in March. “Britney will take the appropriate action and comply with the law, and I hope this is the first step in a long overdue change in Britney’s life. I hope she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
