Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison Criticizes Son’s GoFundMe Campaign

Pawn Stars humanity Rick Harrison he does not understand why his son Corey Harrison launched a GoFundMe campaign to pay his medical bills related to a recent motorcycle accident.
“As far as I know, I paid off all of Corey’s debts before he started the GoFundMe,” said a spokesperson for Rick, 60. Page Six on Friday, March 6. “He is a grown man in his 40s and responsible for the way he manages his finances.”
Us Weekly contacted Corey, 42, for comment.
Corey suffered serious injuries, including multiple broken bones, in a motorcycle accident in Mexico earlier this year.
“I’m messed up but I’m good the crash bars are amazing 3 nights at the hospital 11breaks on my ribs,” Corey wrote on Instagram in January. “I’m going to do an episode on @theCoreyHarrisonshow. Sorry Pops, looks like I’m going to miss your wedding.”
Rick got married Angie Polushkin in January, with the reality TV star’s attorney later telling Entertainment Weekly that Corey would “make a full recovery” after “six weeks of bed rest while he heals.” The spokesperson also noted that Rick visited his son in the hospital before his wedding day. (Rick, a father of three, shares with Corey Kim Harrison.)
As Corey recovered, one of his friends launched an online fundraiser in his name to cover his medical expenses.
“Help Corey ‘Big Hoss’ Harrison Recover From Devastating Motorcycle Crash In Mexico,” Corey’s friend Aaron Chambers he wrote in a GoFundMe description, seeking to raise $18,000. “If you have watched Pawn Starsyou know Corey as the quick-witted guy behind the counter who always brings laughs and tough conversations. Off camera, he’s just Corey: honest, proud, independent, and someone who’s always there for his friends and family. However, right now he needs our help more than ever.”
According to Chambers, he had Corey’s “full knowledge and blessing” to create the fundraising page.
“We are raising emergency funds to pay over $100,000 in medical bills and related expenses after a tragic motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, that left him fighting for his life,” Chambers wrote. “A few days before his father Rick Harrison’s wedding in Cancun in February 2026, Corey was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum. He suffered serious injuries: 11 broken ribs, a punctured lung, concussions, and internal bleeding.”
He continued, “After 14 difficult days in the hospital, the financial pressure became too much, and Corey had no choice but to self-examine against medical advice. We took him back to his home in Tulum, hoping that some rest would change things. It didn’t. Within hours, Corey was in severe pain. The house doctor came in to administer IV fluids and therapeutic morphine.”
Corey ended up going back to the local hospital for “live surgery” three times.
“By the time he was stabilized and released, the total cost — from the initial stay in Playa del Carmen, emergency calls to emergency rooms, urgent care visits, travel to Mérida, and surgery — had reached $100,000,” the website’s description notes. Corey drained his entire bank account to pay what he could. Friends, including myself, took out credit cards just to continue his treatment.”
Chambers’ GoFundMe has raised more than $8,000 at press time.
