Deadliest Catch star Todd Meadows died at the age of 25 while working as a deckhand on the fishing vessel Aleutian Lady, featured on the Discovery Channel show.
“We are saddened by the passing of Todd Meadows,” a network spokesperson told TMZ on March 2. “This is a tragic loss, and our hearts go out to his loved ones, colleagues, and the entire fishing community at this incredibly difficult time.”
A GoFundMe was launched to raise money after Meadows’ death. The fundraiser, who spoke to the late reality star as someone who likes to “rust in Alaskan waters,” has a goal of $45,000.
“This unimaginable loss has left his children without a father, his parents without their son, his siblings without his brother and his family broken,” reads the website. “As the family goes through this difficult time, we are raising money to help his three boys, help with funeral expenses, and help ease the financial burden in the coming months.”

Who was Todd Meadows?

How Did Todd Meadows Die?
TMZ reported on March 2 that Meadows died in a “fishing-related” incident while filming Deadliest Catch. It was later reported that he “fell overboard” on February 25.
The incident was caught on camera during the filming of a Discovery Channel show, as confirmed Us Weekly is Meadows’ partner Trey John Green III.
“Discovery has finished filming, but there was a producer and a deck cam guy on the boat for the last two months filming season 22 of the show,” he said. “It was recorded unfortunately.”
What happened to Todd Meadows?
The Coast Guard’s Arctic Command Center in Juneau, Alaska, was notified of the incident before working to get Meadows back on board.
