‘Wednesday’s’ ‘Wednesday’ Season 3 Stars Production, Adds New Cast

Wednesday Season 3 has begun production in Ireland, adds Chris Sarandon (Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride), Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game Of ThronesOscar Morgan (Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Gotham Knights), Kennedy Moyer (Job, Roofman) and other characters.

They join the previously announced Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Beetle juice) – whose entry into the project in a guest role was revealed earlier this morning – with Eva Green (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children again Dark Shades,) who will portray Morticia Addams’ sister, Ophelia. The returning cast includes Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams) and more.

In a promo video for the first production, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Evie Templeton, Isaac Ordonez, Joanna Lumley, Georgie Farmer, Moosa Mustafa, Victor Dorobantu, Fred Armisen, Billie Piper and Hunter Doohan are all featured in the fashion lineup for Lurch’s surprise party with another employee. Enid’s plate is on fire. All of the Nevermore students except Tyler had an N above their names, and you have members of the O family. Addams like Wednesday, his brother and parents have A, and Grandma and Aunt Ophelia have F for Frump.

Ryder’s character is Tabitha. Noah Taylor will play Cyrus, Oscar Morgan will play Atticus and Kennedy Moyer will play Daisy. All of these new additional characters have a capital B above their names on their location cards. Chris Sarandon’s character is Balthazar. There is a character with that name in Addams family fiction, Cousin Balthazar, although he is said to be dead because Gomez and Morticia meet at his funeral. This would explain the black bottle with his name written on it. As for the question mark on the second bottle next to hers, that could be a new character or something else entirely Aunt Ophelia (Eva Green) gets the cake. The video ends with the lid of the container revealing Uncle Fester’s bald head.

“It is our darkest pleasure to open the gates of Nevermore Academy again as we begin production on Season Three,” said creators, showrunners and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar. “Thank you to our indomitable cast for their commitment to doom and gloom. To the fans, we appreciate your patience and your misogynistic comments on the Internet — your twisted opinions have fueled nightmares. This season we welcome new students, new teachers, and dig into long-simmering secrets of the Addams family. Don’t say you weren’t warned.”

More details are open Wednesday Season 3 will be released later.

“I’m so excited to be back for Season 3 and it’s great to be reunited with all of the original cast,” said director and executive producer Tim Burton. “The addition of dear friends and my previous collaborators – Winona, Eva, Chris, Noah…makes this season even more special. I feel very lucky.”
