This might be Hulu’s biggest week this month, as it includes the premiere of a hit sci-fi movie and the premiere of a hit series.
Hulu also revealed that one of its most popular shows is ending this week, and the series finale is already available to watch.

‘Predator: Badlands’ (2025)
There was A hunter movies since 1987, but Predator: Badlands is the first to put one of the titular creatures in a leading role. Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi stars as Dek, a young Predator whose small size makes him a target for his father, Njohrr (Ruben de Jong), a family leader who believes that his son should be killed because of his “weakness”.
To prove himself, Dek plans to hunt down the deadliest creature in the universe in a hostile world. The state of this world is so deadly that Dek turns to Thia (Elle Fanning), a highly corrupted artificial android from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and the closest thing this movie has to a human character. Thia is willing to help Dek in exchange for help reuniting him with his android sister, Tessa (Fanning). But the loyalty of both Dek and Thia will be tested during their time together.

‘Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. with Carolyn Bessette’ (2026)
Love storyFX and Hulu’s latest series Ryan Murphywe look back on real life dating and falling in love John F. Kennedy Jr. again Carolyn Bessette. In this show, Kennedy is portrayed by Paul Anthony Kellyand the son of President John F. Kennedy he feels a lot of pressure to live up to his father’s legacy. Naomi Watts costars as Kennedy’s mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

‘Tell Me a Lie’ (2022 – 2026)
Hulu surprised fans this week with some news Tell me a lie has come to a close following the conclusion of the third season. The series follows a small circle of friends, including Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten), Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White), Bree (Catherine Missal), Wrigley (Homes in Spencer), Pippa (Sonia Menaand Evan (Brandon Cook).
The story of the show goes back and forth in time during an eight-year period that began when the group was enrolled at Baird College and extends a few years later. Toxic relationships abound, as the group betrays and deceives each other. But none of the budding couple have the same devastating history that Lucy and Stephen share. The end of their story feels very earned, and there is closure at the end for devoted fans of the show.
