Chappell Roan Drops Skills Center Among Epstein Files

Chappell Roan is receiving widespread praise after he released a statement confirming that he is no longer part of the organization that manages the skills of Casey Wasserman after his name appeared multiple times in the recently released Epstein files.
As you know, more than three million pages of documents, photos, and videos were recently released by the Department of Justice as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The release provided shocking insight into government records related to investigations, prosecutions, and related matters involving convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and other powerful individuals.
According to the report, Epstein died in prison in 2019. Meanwhile, his partner Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison after being convicted of child trafficking and other charges in 2021. He was first arrested in 2020, and federal prosecutors said Ghislaine helped Epstein find the young girls.
Tons of top names appear in the newly released documents, including Casey Wasserman, who appeared several times in his email exchanges with Ghislaine in the early ’00s. For example, on April 1, 2003, she wrote to him: “Where are you, I miss you. I’ll be in NYC for 4 days starting April 22nd…can we book that massage now?”
In another, Ghislaine gave Casey a massage that would “beat a man,” adding that she was “out of breath” at the thought of it.
Casey was also listed as attending the 2002 Africa tour aboard Epstein’s private jet.
Shortly after the files were released, Casey released a statement expressing his regret for his involvement with Ghislaine. He said: “I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, which took place more than two decades ago, before her horrific crimes were exposed.”
Casey added that he “never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” and pointed out that the trip to Africa was “well-documented” and “a humanitarian trip as part of the Clinton Foundation team.”
However, Chappell took to his Instagram story on Monday to confirm that he has severed all ties with Casey after his close relationship with Ghislaine came to light, writing: “As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman. ethical standards.”
“I have a lot of respect and appreciation for the agents and workers who work hard for their artists and I refuse to stand idly by,” continued his statement. “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”
And the singer has been praised for taking action and distancing himself from anyone tied to the Epstein files in any capacity. Another popular comment on Reddit read: “The ‘active’ part is so refreshing. Many stars wait for a PR crisis to surface before taking action, but he treats his team as an expression of his principles. Even if the 2003 email was the only ‘official’ link, intimacy alone is a major responsibility of the person carrying his messages; he does not wait for his company’s message. integrity.”
“love a man who takes action not making empty statements. we celebrate celebrities waayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy with making statements and doing nothing. so much respect for chappell,” another person wrote. Another echoed: “I’ll always love Chappell. He’s in the shit business. I know I say this all the time but seeing young artists speak and use their voices just makes me happy.”
“This is really cool and powerful. It feels real, and it’s not like texting. Salute 🫡” another commented. One compared Chappell’s actions to neutral stars, with another comment reading: “This is easy.
