Washington DC will host the Great American State Fair for America250

President Donald Trump will kick off the Great American State Fair on Wednesday evening as part of the 250th anniversary celebrations.
“President Trump promised the biggest 250th birthday celebration in American history, and Freedom 250 is proud to bring it to the American people,” Freedom 250 CEO Keith Kranch told Fox News Digital.
“This celebration is about what makes America great—our freedom, our faith, our hope and our people. We are honored to welcome President Trump as he helps kick off these historic ceremonies tomorrow and kick off the national celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday,” Krach added.
The parade includes all 50 states and six US territories in a national celebration from the Capitol to the Washington Monument that includes military flyovers, musical performances and community programs. Trump announced he would deliver his remarks after a number of musicians walked out of the concert, turning the bash into a “Make America Great Again Rally.”

The event is scheduled to run from June 25 to July 10, 2026, celebrating patriotism to bring the nation together to celebrate unity.

Trump’s expected remarks followed his signing last week of a Memorandum of Understanding with Iran, which introduced a 60-day negotiation period aimed at preventing Tehran from regaining nuclear weapons capability.
The world-class event will feature panels around five national themes: Made in America, American Heartland, American Innovates, The American Canvas, and Faith & Family.
There will also be a 110-foot Ferris wheel and a renovated Smithsonian carousel for families to enjoy.

The US has hosted more than a dozen world’s fairs since it was held in Philadelphia in 1876, according to the State Department.

Freedom250, the nonpartisan group that helps coordinate the broader America250 effort, said the parade will include food, games, exhibits and themed attractions designed to showcase the country’s culture, history and creativity.
