Miami biotech executive, Justin Zelin, was followed by a man who threw him from the 25th floor.

The Miami biotech executive was followed into the main floor of the man’s residence, allegedly pushing him out of the building’s 25th floor, newly released surveillance video shows.

Justin Zelin, 35, was seen entering Miami Beach’s 47-story Akoya Condominium with bearded man Corey Hutterli, 37, trailing behind on Feb. 12 — three days before his death, NBC6 reported.

Zelin, who was dressed in casual clothes, dumped the trash in a trash can before walking up to the entrance to the elevated parking lot, not knowing that he was going to fall to his death.

Hutterli, wearing a bucket hat, followed close behind, carrying bottles of liquor.

Just three days later, Harvard graduate Zelin called 911 to report the disturbance. During the call, he ordered Hutterley out of the apartment, WPLG reported.

Zelin, who has worked as a biotechnology equity research analyst at BTIG since January 2021, reportedly yelled, “Get off me Sasha,” using an alias Hutterli is not known for.

There was a gunshot and the police said, “When the defendant Hutterli got into a physical fight, he caused the victim Zelin to die from serious injuries.”

Zelin’s body hit the pavement on the ground floor, according to surveillance video recorded eight minutes after the 911 call.

Hutterley’s team said Zelin “passed the balcony” after the incident.

They said Zelin, identified as JZ in court documents, yelled at Hutterli “in what could be described as a complete disconnect from the truth.”

“JZ can be heard yelling that he was killed by a homeless person, insisting that he is dead.

“During this period of mental relaxation, JZ ran out of the apartment, then fell from the balcony of his apartment on the 25th floor and fell to his death.”

But Hutterli’s physical condition suggested something worse had happened. He had bruises on his cheek, and a cut on his thumb.

He was also “in an apparently happy state, according to police.”

“What’s going on?” asked Hutterli, who was wearing nothing.

“Someone insulted me and attacked me.”

The officer asked Hutterli if he was alone, and he replied, “No, I don’t know where he is.”
“I kept telling him to relax.”

Hutterli then blurted out, “What’s the situation?

Police then searched the house – which was full of items inside – and found Hutterli’s bucket hat.

There were bloodstains on the target, and clumps of Hutterley’s beard were also found.

Blood was also found on Hutterli’s shirt – and they found ketamine in his bag.

Hutterli was arrested on April 8 and is charged with murder, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Police were able to make an arrest after Zelin’s DNA was found on Hutterli’s coat.

He also faces burglary with assault or battery, possession of a controlled substance, and drug possession charges.

Zelin was suddenly paid following his death.

“Justin was one of the best biotech analysts I’ve ever worked with,” friend Amit Jolly wrote on LinkedIn.

“His work was rigorous, thoughtful and deeply integrated.

“He had a rare ability to see around corners and express complex ideas with clarity and conviction.

“Our field has lost a common sense, and many of us have lost a faithful voice and friend.”
