Mamdani spin doctor who ‘threatened’ sexist Graham Platner admits he was ‘sent and found naked’
Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s whiz-kid spin doctor – under fire for allegedly threatening former US Senate staffer Graham Platner – has bravely admitted to posting nude photos of herself on a resurfaced website.
Morris Katz, the 27-year-old campaign champion who helped get Mamdani to Gracie Mansion, made the strange admission while defending disgraced former California Rep. Katie Hill in a November 2019 blog post after she left Congress.
The outspoken ex-lawyer resigned that month amid allegations of an affair involving multiple staffers – and shortly after nude photos were leaked online.
“I’ve sent nudists and I’ve gotten nudists,” Katz humbly admitted in a Medium post titled “Katie Hill Resigned for Our Sins.”
“We need to reach a cultural understanding where altered pornography is consensually removed when the relationship has ended or both parties no longer consent,” he wrote.
“Everyone I know knows someone whose nudity has been spread,” he continued. “It’s become an accepted part of young (and apparently old) male culture.”
The Washington Free Beacon was the first to report on Tuesday that Katz was under renewed scrutiny for his alleged involvement in the snow plowing incident involving Platner, a Democrat running to unseat Republican Sen. Susan Collins in Maine.
A report in Sunday’s Bangor Daily News alleges that he tried to beat up former campaign worker Genevieve McDonald to deny allegations that the married farmer had sex with multiple women after marrying his wife in 2023.
The report says he pressured McDonald, Platner’s former campaign political director, in an attempt to block a Wall Street Journal report about the candidate’s lewd messages.
“If the story continues on its current course, we will be on the record, and word for word, that Genevieve violated Amy and Graham’s personal trust and shared blatant lies to sabotage the campaign,” Katz told McDonald through a spokesperson, the report said.
After his alleged sordid political antics were exposed, Katz complained online that it was “nobody’s business” what happened between Platner and his wife, Amy, before he began running for office.
The political activist also lashed out at “incompetent, opportunistic workers” who “prioritize revenge over respectability.”
The scandal and Katz’s confession are the latest arguments to blow Platner’s bid to free Collins.
Katz and his company, Flight Agency, are also advising the former Mamdani-backed City official, Brad Lander, Micah Lasher and other campaigns remaining in this election cycle, The Post reported on Monday.
His business partner at the Fight Agency, Rebecca Katz, previously said in a statement: “Morris handled this situation like a political expert. It was all over the top. He continues to be one of the best in the industry. The chaos around him is being created by operatives who had better days behind them.”
