Daphne Joy trending on social media after his video went viral, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and a male escort who is accused of committing a sexual act. Combs and companions, it is believed The Sly Digglerthey didn’t talk to the viral tape. However, Daphne briefly broke her silence in a now-deleted statement.

As mentioned, the intimate tape shows Joy, Diddy and Sly Digger naked and having sex. It is not clear who first leaked it or why. During the tape’s run, DJ Vlad confirmed its validity, revealing a past conversation with Sly.
The following statement appeared first on Daphne Joy’s Instagram Stories. Sometime after being posted for at least 43 minutes, the statement appeared to have been removed. However, The Shadow Room can prove its worth. The long statement begins with Daphne, “Everybody plays a fool sometimes, and I’ve been the biggest fool of all.” She admitted that during the tape she wanted her man to be “happy and satisfied” by fulfilling all his desires, no matter if it calls out to his limits.

Daphne clarified that she “never agreed” to the intimate tape that has now gone viral. He alleges that the “person in the video” had previously tricked him, asking for money and threatening to leak the video. He did not specify whether the “person” he was referring to was Diddy or the alleged male escort, Sly Diggler. Daphne Joy said the man eventually sold it to a “major news source,” who approached her to comment on it. After informing them that the tape was “revenge porn and an extortion scheme,” the media company reportedly backed down. “…I know they are probably reading this and I want to thank you for doing the right thing…even after so many years..it still hurts me,” he wrote.
In addition, Daphne Joy admitted that it took her “a whole day to find the courage to watch again.” [her] abuse.” He said watching the intimate video was both arousing and painful, citing the “inner turmoil and pressures” he felt at the time.

Is “Jane” Daphne? The internet seems to think so
The intimate tape comes nearly a year after “Jane,” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, began testifying against him on June 5, 2025. During the trial, the father of Daphne Joy’s son, social media users and bloggers assumed she was the anonymous witness known as “Jane.” However, neither Daphne nor her legal team has confirmed that she was the witness in question.
On stage, “Jane” described a romantic relationship that began in 2021. Eventually, she relied on him financially, including housing support. She revealed that their intimate encounters often involved other men and “hotel nights,” known as “weird things,” and drug abuse, facilitated by Diddy. One encounter involved sexual acts with three men in a row and another encounter in 2022 allegedly lasted three and a half days, with each “Jane”. He said he initially gave subtle hints that he didn’t want to participate before later revealing it. Another text sent by Combs was read in court and said:
“I’m more than just being left in the dark of a hotel room. My heart hurts. I don’t want to play this role in your life anymore. It’s dark, dirty and it makes me feel disgusting. That’s the reason you have me around and why you pay for my house. I don’t want to feel obligated to do and I’m afraid of losing when we leave here and I want to lose talking to you from here…
Again, Daphne Joy has never publicly identified herself as a “Jane” witness. or spoke speculatively.
Daphne Joy Previously Called Diddy Her “Favorite Person”
Back in November 2022, Joy turned heads when she linked up with Diddy in public. During this time, he was kicking it in the open with Yung Miami, aka his Shawty Wop. Especially on his 53rd birthday beach. While partying with Caresha and thanking her for her love, Daphne Joy took to the internet to honor her birthday. She shared a photo of them together, with Combs looking away from the camera and captioned it, “Happy Birthday to the person I love @diddy.” Then, in another post on Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of herself and Combs at the beach with the caption, “Blessed.”
