Pete Davidson Praises Ex Kim Kardashian’s Acting Skills

Is there anything? Kim Kardashian I can’t do it? His ex Pete Davidson it doesn’t think so.
“Isn’t Kim crazy about acting?” Davidson, 32, asked the visitor Nikki Glaser during the Friday, May 29 episode The Pete Davidson Show on Netflix. “I remember when we were dating, one day he was like, ‘I think I’m going to be an actor.’ And I said, ‘F*** yes!’ Then [she’s] just fine and I’m like, ‘Get the f*** out of here.’ He is very good at acting.”
Kardashian made her acting debut as Hollywood villain Siobhan Corbyn American Horror Story: Soft in 2023. The role was well received by fans and critics. However, she did not receive the same acclaim for her role as lawyer Allura Grant on Hulu Everything is OK last year, many viewers described his performance as “strong.” (The show itself also received negative reviews.)
Kardashian is now set to star in and produce an upcoming Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel.
In her interview with Davidson, Glaser, 41, called Kardashian, 45, “very smart.”
Whatever he wants to do, he will do it, especially if people say, ‘You can’t do this.’ And to play up to the public’s perception of him, he knew … everyone was going to watch him fail,” Glaser continued. “Like, to do something [where] you know people will try to find your weakness.”
Davidson then called her ex-husband “superhuman,” adding that she “learned from him” that she could do anything she put her mind to, regardless of what people said about her.
“Like, he doesn’t [sic] give a f***. It’s unbelievable,” he concluded.
Davidson and Kardashian dated from October 2021 to August 2022 following his divorce Kanye West.
“There was no drama between them when they decided to separate,” said the source Us Weekly when the two broke up after nine months together. “It was something they talked about; it wasn’t a sudden breakup.”
The insider added, “They each have busy schedules and the distance makes it difficult. Kim travels a ton and it was hard for Pete to keep up, especially with his filming schedule. They had a lot of fun together, and can look back on fond memories.”
Kardashian later reflected on her romance with Davidson during an appearance in October 2025 Alex Cooper“Call Her Daddy” podcast, discussing how her divorce from West, 48, has affected her dating life. (In 2022, West released a music video for his song “Eazy,” featuring a clay version of Davidson who was kidnapped by the rapper and buried alive.)
“That really hurt me. That was not good for him,” Kardashian said in the video. “And I felt sad and sorry for him, and he was such a great man [who] it was like, ‘I got this, don’t worry, it’s all good.’ Even if I did.”
The founder of Skims continued, “You have to, you have to be put in that position. So it made me put this guard where I don’t want to put anybody in that position. So it’s easier if I just, maybe, don’t stay. But I can’t live my life like that.”
