“This has been a nightmare for his mother [Bobbi Meza],” a source revealed exclusively Us Weekly.
The family rift comes amid reports that Dodd, 50, is involved in multiple legal investigations and could face jail time. In one case, Dodd is accused of illegally sharing pornographic images of another person without their consent.
The inner self revealed to him Us that Dodd’s extended family refused to interact with him unless he agreed to intervene or seek professional help. This disagreement is suspected to have hurt Meza, 77, as he is still recovering from a stroke that family members suspect was due to stress, according to the source.
The only family member that Dodd has regular contact with at this stage is his father, Frank Mezasaid the source.

Thursday, May 28, Us obtained documents from the California Supreme Court showing that Dodd was involved in a sexual retaliation case in which he was accused of “unlawfully and intentionally” distributing images of Jane Doe engaged in sexual intercourse. Court documents obtained by Us he suspected that RHOC alum shared photos of a woman having sex and masturbating without their consent on or about August 29, 2025.
“[Dodd] knew and should have known that distribution of the photograph would cause severe emotional distress and Jane Doe #2 suffered that distress,” the Orange County district attorney’s filing read.
According to the court filing, Dodd and the woman initially agreed to keep the photos private. However, later Dodd allegedly “contacted this person and threatened to harm him, his property and his family.”
Dodd and her husband, a former Fox News reporter Rick Leventhaladdressed the allegations on their podcast on Thursday, May 28, where they confirmed that “Kelly will go to court” to answer the charges.
Leventhal, 66, insisted on the podcast that the initial reports about the allegations were “very inaccurate — like, totally wrong.”

In addition to his sexual retaliation charge, Dodd is charged with an incident that occurred in June 2025 with another gang, Us confirmed. In all, Dodd faces three misdemeanor charges — battery, disorderly conduct and harassing and offensive communication, respectively — and possible prison time.
