Summer House stars Amanda Batula again West Wilson they pulled back the curtain on their love.
“When we walked out, I looked at Amanda and I was like, ‘Am I crazy or is there something a little off here?'” West explained during a May episode of the reality show’s season 10 reunion when he was asked who made the first move.
The pair confirmed their engagement in March, two months after Amanda released a statement revealing that she was the one Kyle Cooke they had separated after four years of marriage. On the other hand, West was dating Amanda’s costar and former BFF Ciara Miller.
West said in April that there was “no rift” in the relationship. Instead, he shared that he and Amanda “realized things were maybe a little serious” in February.
“I know there are a thousand different opinions on the internet right now, but that’s one thing that probably didn’t happen,” he said in his piece. Sophie Cunningham‘s “Show Me Something” podcast. “Everyone was single.”

Initial statement Released by Amanda and West
In March, Amanda and West revealed that they were in a romantic relationship. “We’ve seen an increase in speculation online, so even though it’s still new, we wanted to clarify something,” Instagram’s statement read at the time. “It wasn’t our intention to hide anything on purpose. Given the complicated relationship that exists and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before talking about it.”
“We have seen each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and the latest development was the last thing we both expected,” they continued. “Our connection came from a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it very important for us to approach this carefully.”
The couple wrote that as their “emotions developed, we wanted to take some time to understand exactly how we felt.”
“We also realize that this has had an impact on more than just us and we never want our actions to hurt or be taken as careless,” they wrote. “We appreciate your understanding and respect as we look into this.”
1st Time They Kissed
In the first half of the Summer House reunion for season 10, Amanda and West confirmed that their first kiss happened “at the end of February after lunch.” The Costar Jesse Solomon previously confirmed in April that West went to brunch with the cast in February and went to spend time with Amanda, but didn’t tell them where he was going.

“When did you start sleeping together?” Andy asked the two, and Amanda replied, “After the statement. I mean, not that night.”
