Tiger Woods Returns to Instagram After Announcing Treatment

Tiger Woods has returned to social media for the first time since announcing that he was seeking treatment following his arrest in March.
“My dad was a Special Forces operator with two tours in Vietnam and 20 years of service,” Woods, 50, wrote on his Instagram Story to commemorate Memorial Day on Monday, May 25. “To all like my dad, we all say thank you for your sacrifices. Without them we wouldn’t have the greatest country on Earth.”
His girlfriend, Vanessa Trumphe shared a statement on his story as well.

Tiger’s post comes amid speculation that he has returned to Switzerland to continue his treatment after briefly returning to his home in Florida. TMZ Games reported on Sunday, May 24, that a private Tiger plane left Florida the night before, and landed in Switzerland that morning.
He first revealed that he was seeking treatment on March 31, four days after the car accident that led to his arrest. Tiger has pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI, vandalism and refusing to submit to a legal (urine) test.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he wrote in a statement about X. “I am taking some time off to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary to prioritize my well-being and work towards a lasting recovery.”
Tiger continued, “I am committed to taking the time necessary to get back to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and I ask for the privacy of my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
He first arrived in Switzerland to begin treatment on April 3, and returned to Florida on May 13. A week later, Trump, 48, revealed that he had breast cancer.
“Although this is not the news anyone expected, I am working closely with my medical team on the treatment plan,” he wrote in a statement posted on Instagram on Wednesday, May 20. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing the procedure earlier this week on me. I remain focused and positive while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my children, and those around me.”
Vanessa who was the wife of Donald Trump Jr., eldest son of President Donald Trump. They both separated in 2018 and she and Tiger have been together since 2024.
