Shakira Makes Strange Comment on Gerard Pique’s Breakup

Shakira he has no grudge against his ex-partner Gerard Piqué.
“I will always have that gratitude in my heart for the father of my children as well [for] to turn me into the mother I am today,” said Shakira, 49 The Times of London in a profile published on Friday, May 22, when asked about Piqué, 39.
Shakira and the retired Spanish soccer star have more than a decade, from 2010 to 2022. The actress now welcomed her sons Milan and Sasha in 2013 and 2015, respectively, before calling it quits.
“We regret having to confirm that we are separating,” Shakira and Piqué said joint statement of June 2022announcing their separation. “For the welfare of our children, which is our priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.”
When Shakira looked at the breakup, she told The Times facing his “darkest hour”.
“I saw the disintegration of my family, the family I wanted to keep forever,” he recalled from the store. “I’ve been through a lot of pain, but it’s made me perhaps unexpectedly wiser – or stronger, at least.”
Shakira continued, “They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and it’s true. It’s amazing to learn that people have resilience that we can use at any time in our lives. Sometimes in hardship and pain is how we find out how strong we can be. Suffering sometimes makes you a better person, it makes you appreciate friends and support.”
Shakira, in particular, leaning on his friends after separation, including Chris Martin again Adele.
“Life can sometimes be ugly, but it’s also beautiful and made of light and shadow,” said the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer. “I am grateful for life all the time, the bright and the dark, the people who made me suffer because they are my masters who taught me lessons, very important lessons.
After her breakup with Piqué, Shakira has been romantically linked with him Jimmy Butler again Lucien Laviscount before taking a break from dating completely.
“No, no, I don’t have any love at the moment,” he insisted The Times. “There is no room or time in my life for that. My plate is very full. My children come before me, and so does my work. The strange thing is, I love my work like I never have in my life. I enjoy my time alone.”
As for her career, Shakira is expected to play in the 2026 World Cup later this summer.
“It’s going to be amazing,” Shakira, who wrote the competition’s song “Dai Dai,” teased in her Friday profile. “I’m as passionate as ever.”
