Transgender pedo ‘witch’ wants to be allowed to perform nude Wiccan rituals at NJ women’s prison
A twisted transgender rapist wants his women’s prison to allow him to perform nude Wiccan rituals in the prison yard.
Marina Volz, 37, a man born Matthew, is serving a 25-year sentence at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ for recording disturbing sexual images of her 7-year-old daughter.
Volz claims to be a Wiccan and sued the prison, the New Jersey Department of Corrections and religious services director Dr. Joy Lynch in 2023 for religious discrimination, claiming she was denied access to religious items such as Tabbards – a sleeveless Wiccan garment – and the ability to worship on Wiccan holy days.
Wicca is a pagan religion that first appeared in England in the 1950s, whose followers practice witchcraft and call themselves witches.
The witch is now in talks with the New Jersey attorney general’s office and sent a letter in February through his lawyers with a number of demands for religious accommodation — including the ability to perform Wiccan rituals “skyclad,” the Wiccan word for nudity, Reduxx reported.
He also wants “the provision of traditional food to be eaten” on the Wiccan holidays of Sabbats and Esbats, as well as access to Wiccan books and religious materials.
He also wants to be appointed as the leader of the Wiccan religion in prison.
Finally, Volz wants to be allowed to marry his transgender partner in the child sex abuse case, Ashley Romero, a natural man.
The two were convicted in 2022, along with Sean Allen, who lived with them at their home in Franklin, NJ, for operating “a pornographic production studio specializing in amateur, BDSM and illicit idol content.”
The witch and her lover took her daughter, then 7 years old, from her mother’s arms in Oregon and took her across the country to New Jersey. Romero was seen sexually assaulting a girl with another man in videos produced by the trio, while Allen was also filmed abusing the girl.
“If this wasn’t something bad, cruel and depraved, I don’t know what is,” said the judge in the case, Peter Tobin.
A female prisoner in the prison says that they were trying to get married only to stay in the cell, reports Reduxx.
“This is a man convicted of human trafficking, sexual assault and child endangerment under circumstances involving his daughter.” Now, she wants the right to participate in nude religious rituals in a women’s prison. This should shock the conscience of every American,” said USA president Kara Dansky of Women’s Declaration International USA.
The New Jersey Department of Corrections began housing transgender inmates in women’s prisons in 2021 as part of an agreement with the ACLU.
