Cardi B reveals the uncontrollable reason behind her screaming at Stefon Diggs outside a coffee shop
Cardi B blamed her explosive feud with Stefon Diggs on being a little hangry.
After the video of their confrontation went viral, the “WAP” rapper took to X to explain why everything went down.
“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity,” he wrote on Twitter, “you’d never fire your dad if you’re hungry?”
Cardi’s explanation came after TMZ shared video of the late couple arguing outside a coffee shop in Burtonsville, Maryland, on Wednesday afternoon.
In the clip, the Grammy winner, 33, appeared playful as she yelled at Diggs, who stood in relief.
The former New England Patriots player, 32, was leaning against the car with his arms folded as Cardi – born Belcalis Almánzar – approached him.
A source told TMZ that the “Bodak Yellow” emcee was heard yelling, “that bitch is dirty,” at Diggs during the 10-minute feud.
The site also published photos of the two continuing to argue while Cardi sat outside the venue.
The controversy came two days after reports surfaced that Cardi was giving the wide receiver “another shot” at their relationship.
“He’s giving her a second chance but he’s not fully committed to her,” a source told Us Weekly Monday.
An insider said the Grow-Good founder is “slowly letting” Diggs “in.”
“They have become very close recently. Things are no longer controversial,” said the source.
“He still has love for Stefon, which makes it difficult to leave.”
Over the weekend, Cardi and Diggs went full PDA during the athlete’s Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday.
According to clips shared online, the NFL free agent was seen planting a kiss on Cardi’s cheek as he wrapped his arm around her waist.
The “I Like It” rapper and Diggs broke up before his team will compete in the Super Bowl 2026 in February because Cardi reportedly “didn’t trust him.”
The couple has a son, whom they welcomed in November 2025.
Diggs shares five other children – four of whom were born in 2025.
Cardi is also the mother of three children – Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1 – who she shares with her estranged husband, Offset (born Kiara Cephus).
