Josh Duggar sent many sex messages to his wife, Anna Duggarwhile waiting to be sentenced for the arrest of his sexual children.
People found several conversations between the couple that took place in 2022 while Josh, 38, was being held at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas following his arrest.
“[I] I miss you my love. I miss being in the shower with you scrubbing, I miss watching you try on clothes, I miss watching you look cute,” Josh wrote to Anna, 37, before congratulating her on “getting the scale numbers lower than expected” and suggesting she buy herself “the lowest price.”
He went on to say:[O]r can you try on clothes and send me a pic of you in bra and panties 😉 or try ‘going to private pool for sunsuit’? Btw you should order a two piece swimsuit as summer is coming soon, find something hot and fun.”
Josh spoke of his love for his wife in a close message.
“I LOVE YOU FOREVER! HUGS AND HUGS … AND EVERYTHING AGAIN! XOXOXOXOXO O: I LOVE YOU SEXY! x: :}v :}OvO,” he concluded.
In a separate message, Josh made a request to his wife, writing, “Ps – send photos as soon as requested, thought. [sic]thought or said otherwise lol. nice one(s) of yours in! (OO).”
Josh followed that up with his response to the photos.
“Ps – I can’t [sic] wait until we are alone again,” he added. “I miss you ALL! what in particular [sic] are you thinking/dreaming/dreaming about the day you missed today? I miss you, you and I are US! tell me later? :O”
A few days before his sentencing, Josh explained to Anna “what we would be doing,” including “an amazing foot rub,” “a back rub” or “something relaxing.”
“Then we can have some real fun … when we’re ready and free! So many memories are flooding my mind right now,” she wrote while asking for more photos of Anna. “Your sexy cleavage is amazing! Thank you for thinking of me!”
Another message included Josh sharing new details about his time in prison.

“[W]well, I wrote too much. it helped. It turned around, we are walking together. we are both alone. We are both enjoying our new adventure. We’re both having fun, just us! We both enjoy each other and take things to the next level,” he wrote. You’re amazing. You’re fun! Beautiful, lovely, and beautiful – all at the same time! You’re my precious, lovely bride. my love. my love. the girl of my dreams! I’m yours and thank you for being mine! I LOVE YOU ALL ANNA!”
Before his arrest, Josh and Anna faced several scandals in front of the public. In 2015, it was revealed that Josh had molested many girls as a child, some of whom were his sisters. He noted in a statement at the time that he previously sought counseling for his “mistakes.”
“Twelve years ago, when I was still a teenager, I did something for no reason that I deeply regret and deeply regret,” he wrote on the family’s Facebook account. “I hurt others, including my family and close friends.”
Months later, hackers released the stolen information from Ashley Madison’s website, leading to Josh admitting he was unfaithful to his wife after his account was exposed. They got married in 2008, are still married and have seven children.
Josh was arrested in 2021 and later convicted of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse services. He is currently serving a 151-month federal prison sentence.
