Included tee times for round 1
When the Truist Championship came around last year, Cameron Young didn’t win on the PGA Tour and was fighting for position. A lot has changed over the years.
Now, Young is World No. 3 after wins at last year’s Wyndham Championship, this year’s Players Championship and last week’s Cadillac Championship.
The American Ryder Cup has +900 odds to capture its second consecutive Signature Event title… and its second $3.6 billion check in a row. But he is not the betting favourite.
That position belongs to World No. 2 Rory McIlroy, a four-time champion at the Quail Hollow event. McIlroy is making his first start since winning the 2026 Masters in April.
Young will begin his opening round Thursday at 1:20 pm ET with Justin Thomas, who won the 2017 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2026 Truist Championship from 2-6 pm ET on the Golf Channel. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will offer a special early broadcast beginning Thursday at 7:30 a.m. ET, in addition to the featured group and featured hole.
