A South Carolina woman who runs a children’s clothing store has been arrested 17 times since the start of 2026, with authorities across the country accusing her of taking money from dozens of customers who never received the products they ordered.
Pamela Brooke Schronceof Anderson County, owns Thomas & Turner Boutique in Belton. The business is marketed as a “stylish baby store” that offers “custom-designed pieces,” according to its Instagram page. But law enforcement agencies in at least eight South Carolina counties say customers paid for items online and never received them — or got their money back.

Inside Pamela Schronce’s Growing Billing List
Schronce was arrested for the 17th time on May 1, 2026, according to online records viewed by Fox Carolina. He was booked into the Pickens County Detention Center and charged with receiving money or property under false tokens or documents, under $2,000.
He was later given a total bond of $1,087.50 and appears to have been released from custody, as his information was not available at the Pickens County Detention Center as of May 5, 2026.
Schronce was arrested on two counts of breach of trust with intent to defraud on April 6 and was released on bail.
On April 2, he was booked in Greenville County on five counts of obtaining property valued at $2,000 or less under false pretenses, according to court and jail records reviewed Us. It was the 15th time he’s been arrested — and the 15th time a gun has been taken from him — since Jan. 1, WHNS reported.
After that arrest, Schronce was booked into the Greenville County Detention Center and released, records show. His bond was set at $5,000.
The allegations first surfaced in December 2025, when a customer reported ordering $360 worth of items from Schronce’s grocery store website but never receiving the products, the Cherokee County Sheriff said. Steve Mueller confirmed to Us.
“The victim, like everyone else, has tried many times to get an answer [the] they suspect but end up being blocked from answering,” said Mueller.
That report led to an arrest warrant being issued on February 17, and Schronce’s booking at the Cherokee County Detention Center on February 23. By then, he had been arrested multiple times. Schronce was first arrested on January 1 and again on January 7. Additional arrests followed on February 5, 9, 11, 13, 19, 20, 23 and 25. Us previously reported.
His 13th arrest occurred March 2 in Newberry County, where he was charged with six counts of obtaining goods under false pretenses in the amount of $2,000 or less, the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. He was given a $3,000 bond. On March 19, Schronce turned himself in to authorities in Pendleton for his 14th arrest, according to Pendleton’s Interim Police Chief. David Poulson. Police there obtained four arrest warrants after a resident reported that he placed four orders at the Schronce store that did not arrive and were not refunded.
Deputies ‘Line Up’ to Arrest Pamela Schronce in 8 Counties
The volume of cases against Schronce has created an unusual operational challenge for law enforcement agencies across South Carolina. As arrests piled up in eight counties since Jan. 1, multiple authorities have had to coordinate to book and process the same suspect on their warrants. The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office noted that Schronce is the subject of multiple cases spanning several locations in Anderson County.

Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller explained what it was like to contact all the other agencies that wanted to book Schronce.
“Investigators were able to obtain a warrant for his arrest on February 17, 2026, and we waited to coordinate with all other agencies to book him into the Cherokee County Detention Center,” Mueller said.
As of January 1, Schronce has been arrested in eight South Carolina counties, WIS reports.
There are allegations that more than 50 victims of Pamela Schronce’s Boutique in 1 County
The scope of the alleged scam extends beyond a handful of disgruntled customers, with law enforcement agencies across South Carolina detailing allegations against Schronce that reach dozens of people in multiple states. The numbers from Anderson County provide a startling look at how widespread these allegations have become. In a February 9 Facebook post, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office announced that Schronce is accused of defrauding more than 50 people living in that county alone.
“According to detectives, Schronce defrauded at least 54 victims who placed online orders but never received their orders,” the sheriff’s office wrote. “Detectives say she has been giving fabricated excuses to explain the missing birth.”
Schronce was also arrested in Abbeville County, where 9 customers reported that he defrauded them of products they had purchased or wanted a refund, WYFF News 4 reported. Those customers purchased items from Schronce’s store between July 2024 and December 2025, according to the television station.
A woman named Hannah Mason He previously spoke to WYFF News 4 and said he was one of the clients allegedly referred by Schronce in Anderson County.
“I asked her many times. ‘Brooke, just give me my money. Just give me my money. You’ll never hear from me again,'” Mason said.

Mason also said that he has purchased items from the Schronce store since 2023 and initially had no problems finding his products. However, he never received the items he ordered in May and June of 2025.
“I feel like those of us who have been wronged are finally seeing some kind of justice,” Mason added.
Pamela Schronce’s Attorney Responds As Investigation Continues
Legal proceedings against Schronce remain in their early stages despite the growing number of arrests. Court records in several of his criminal cases list his defense attorney as Joy C. Daviswho provided an emailed statement on March 3 about the growing allegations against his client. Local prosecutors have asked the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office to handle the case, and the attorney general’s office previously said it was working to “determine the best way forward.”
“This case is still in the early stages,” Davis said.
“I can tell you that Ms. Schronce is looking forward to her day in court,” Davis added.
Davis added that he is waiting to be found by various law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices.
